(no subject)
Today I celebrated Christmas for the third time. It was pretty sweet. I woke up to my dad putting a bag of chocolates on my belly. (Every year he spends 50 cents on a thing called a mountain bar which kind of looks like dog poop), but this year he splurged and went for a whole bag of hersey's kisses. (He's cheap, but I love him) Then we went to Grandma's house where we made our usual feast. Every year she embroiders pillow cases or wash clothes for us. When i was a kid I thought it was a pretty lame gift, but now I find much more value in her hard work. She's such a sweet old woman. Then to top off the evening we all went to IKEA. :P
oh and today we celebrated my parent's anniversary. They've been together for 33 years now. I looked at old pictures from their wedding day and realized my mom was wearing the locket my dad gave her when they were dating. The funny thing is that it actually has pictures of them inside (and my dad is without his shirt...and actually has hair!) Funny to think he actually tried to woo my mom. (Obviously it worked)
Silly Family. oh and tomorrow i will most likely be venturing to b-ham. hopefully. woo!
