Poor Baby!
Well, I made it a full 20 yrs of parenthood before I had to deal with this:
Rupert went snowboarding with friends after school and came home at 8:30 to announce "I hurt myself!"
Unfortunately for him, he fell on his warm-up run!
Fortunately for all of us, he has 2 very minor fractures - they're just in a wierd enough location to require a plaster cast for the first 2 wks.
The UW ER wasn't terribly crowded, but we had to wait for 3 rounds of x-rays (including one post-cast) too, so we were there until 0200. Home and in bed by 0230. We all slept in this a.m.
You can tell the painkillers had kicked in when I snapped this - he looked right at the camera when I asked him to, LOL!
