An Update?
Its been a very long time since I've posted on this here livejournal, so I thought to myself... Hey! Why not? ;)
Well first of all, I have finally graduated from McHenry County College.. I now have an Associate's of Applied Science - Criminal Justice Degree, which is sooo exciting.. haha. my mom was really happy so I guess that's all that matters.
I am now in my 2nd session at Columbia College (not the one in Chicago.. its in Missouri - Crystal Lake campus) and I am pursuing a Bachelors' Degree in Psychology. Hopefully one day I will be able to mold young minds as a Juvenile Probation Officer.
I just recently (about 2 months ago) purchased a new vehicle (new to me that is..) a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT, which is waaay faster and waaay cooler than my old car. I like it. alot.. It makes me very happy, especially since all the interior lighting is bright red ( i love red!) my bedroom is bright red.. mai thai actually.
Colin and I are still together and still doing great. It's been a little over a year now. Good times.. Our 23rd birthdays are coming up soon (june 7th, and July 5th) and since last year's was a total blast ( we went skydiving!!!) we decided that we had to find something really cool to do for the next bday, so we chose white water rafting. Although I am very excited to go rafting, I am a little upset that we won't be doing it somewhere crazy like Colorado. I found a place waaaay up in Wisconsin that has rafting on the Menominee and Peshtigo Rivers, and apparently they are the greatest rivers to go rafting on in the Midwest. Should be good times.
I'm still working the same two jobs I have been for the past two years. Nothing too exciting there. Although, I have been given a lot more responsibility at NISRA which is great because I hope to make that my career if the probation thing doesn't work out.
I just recently joined my neighborhood gym which is very exciting.. I was doing really good until I decided to take this xtreme power class and it totally kicked my ass.. I haven't been able to move right for the past 2 days.. ;) and then as of yesterday morning I have developed a terrible chest and head cold.. when I'm not coughing my lungs out, it feels like my heads going to explode.. nice.
I also got a new phone today which i am also excited about. (apparently everything is exciting to me today) i got the new slvr, its black and shiny, and it doubles as an mp3 player which is nice, so i'm gonna start taking that to the gym with me rather than phone and mp3 player. its conveniently packed into one nice bundle of joy. it was time for a new phone. if i have a nickel for everytime I dropped my cell phone on the ground I would be a hundredaire ;) its so beat up its ridiculous, but i do plan on selling it on ebay. it still works great if anyone wants to buy it :)
so i think that is all that i have for you folks today. i'm at work right now, and then i leave here to go to my other work. fun. i would really like to go home, take a nap, wake up and have my head and chest cold be gone. that would be nice. oh well.
