Dear LiveJournal,
As you may or may not know, I met Tumblr a while back. We chatted for a bit over coffee and cake then went our separate ways. I didn't run into Tumblr again until recently, when fate brought us together by certain circumstances. We started seeing each other more often, one thing led to another, and, well, just earlier I announced that I was divorcing you.
I know, I know, you're probably wondering "How could you do this to me, I thought we had something special, bawwwwwww....." Well, while I was taking my shower earlier, I had time to think, and I came to the conclusion that you and I just need some space for now. I mean, it's been difficult enough to keep up with you since I'm trying to handle so many other relationships at the same time.
For instance, deviantART and I have been trying for years now to take the next step, but it just. hasn't. happened yet. However, I'm not giving up. Facebook and I are in a very steady marriage now and will probably continue that way for a long time. Twitter and I met before and it didn't quite work out but now we're besties. MySpace is basically just an acquaintince now and SheezyArt is but a simple memory. Oh, and I'm still trying to get over that one-night stand YouTube and I had a while back.......
So, as you see, my dear, you're not the only one suffering here. I am actually willing to try to patch things up with you before any of the others. Maybe we can get together during Christmas Break to try and work something out, like go shopping for a new wardrobe and accessories. I won't be dealing with one of my greatest frienemies of all time then, so it should be easier for the both of us. (If you're wondering who I'm referring to, it's school.)
All in all, you've been a mighty fine friend, dear LJ, and I hope we can uphold our relationship in the future.
