"You think you'll be alright on your own?" Winry asked, smiling over at him. "If you need anything, you know your grandparents won't hesitate to help. And of course you can have Julian over all you want."

Nicolas beamed at that. "No, I'll definitely be okay!"

Winry sighed happily and finally, leaned up against Ed. "Are you looking forward to getting away for awhile?" She murmured, leaning up to kiss his jaw.

"C'mon, Nick," Maes said, reaching down to sling his arm over Nicolas' shoulders. "I'll show you exactly where you wanna put your cologne."

Ed nodded and turned to catch her lips. "We haven't had a vacation to ourselves since our tenth anniversary," he murmured softly.

Nick nodded and followed after Maes nervously.

Winry smiled and nodded. "Mmm, we'll have to make up for lost time," she whispered, and kissed him softly again.

Maes led Nicolas up the stairs, then pointed to the bathroom. "First of all, scrub what you've got off. It'll be easier to start all over."

Nicolas picked up a washcloth and started scrubbing at his arms and neck. "Yeah, now what?"

"Spray your arms, chest, and neck, but only once." Maes said, leaning up against the wall. "It only takes one spray."

"Only one- alright," Nick replied skeptically, picking up the cologne and doing as Maes told him.

"Like I said, the point is so that, well, Julian, I guess, has to get really close to you to smell your cologne." Maes said.

Nicolas blushed furiously. "Does everyone know about that?"

"Your sister told me. Don't worry though, I was friends with some guys like that in the academy." Maes said, and reached down out to ruffle the boy's hair. "Anyway, even if it did change anything, Rosie would probably kill me. And hey, if your dad keeps leaving things out... Let me know, okay?"

"Yeah, okay," Nicolas said, slightly reassured, "I guess I can't be too mad at Dad for leaving stuff out, since his Dad wasn't around to show him this stuff at my age, yeah?"
