So finally, that fog has cleared up. It was starting to piss me off that I couldn't see my feet, let alone try going out to get some exercise without crashing into something.

I'm thinking I need to work up my A-game again. After returning back here, I was out and no one would let me train. Dad, think you could start teaching me stuff now?
Oh, and ( Read more... )

Well, I'm kind of moving again. To Latimir this time. Mr. Itoshiki went home, so we couldn't stay in Horton anymore.

That stinks... You doing alright?

If you need any help moving, let me know.

I guess I'm starting to get used to it. To people leaving, I mean. And Mr. Itoshiki was never very happy here. But Amu is really upset about it.

I should be okay. We're moving in with one of Amu's friends, and he's coming over to help now. Not like we have much to take besides food and blankets.

I wouldn't mind talking for a while.

What's Latimir like? That's your building, right? Hikari was just telling me that it gets angry and makes weird things happen to the ceiling.

Ohhh yeah. Lat. is a pretty weird building. I think the worst that happened was that one time the entire building got posessed and there were like...things growing in the wall and junk.

I remember crying babies and everything. It had to have been the scariest thing to happen there next to the ghosts writing nasty things on the walls.

....That's really weird. I've never heard of a building doing any of that before.

Well, unless it was part of the Digital World. But normal rules don't apply there.

Digital world?

Yeah, it seems like my world is the only one that has one. Its like a second world made out of data that is kind of attached to my world. The digimon live there.

Didn't you tell me once what Digimon were?

gallantgoggles September 20 2009, 20:57:08 UTC
Probably? I've tried explaining them to a bunch of people here, but I don't think I'm very good at it.

Um, do you know what data is? Or artificial intelligence?

...Nope.

gallantgoggles September 20 2009, 21:02:33 UTC
...That makes it difficult.

Basically, data is information in computers. And artificial intelligence is this idea that you can make creatures who can think like humans.

And the very first digimon were created in this experiment to see if it was possible to make computer programs who could think and act like real creatures. And after it ended they kept evolving inside the Digital World.

I knew about computers, but I had no idea they could do that.

So...these digimon things are like...fake animals or something?
