Obligatory update. I think I'll order the Keel's simple diary when I get paid and start trying to record my mundane reflections on paper more often than internet.
Holiday break was uneventful really. Pleasant enough. At times went too slow, but of course now, is gone too fast. Many hours spent walking around Savannah. It was cold as shit. Too much straight Knob drank. Did you know that you can still smoke indoors in Savannah as well as carry around liquor in plastic cups outside?
The first day back the kiddies were great. Now my homeroom is slipping back to their old ways. It doesn't bother me much in terms of inconveniencing me. They don't act up much around me, because I'm mean as shit. But I do worry about their social and moral development. Some of them are not maturing very well. Some of them are really fucking annoying and uninteresting. Some are lovely. But I've had to stop thinking cuss-word tirades in my head at them because it really, really wants to come out some days.
But next week and the week after are short weeks. I already booked an Aveda school facial for MLK day. Hell yeah. And next month Valentine's is a 3-day weekend and we're heading back down to Palm Springs to drink, swim, and makeout.
