It takes Riku a moment to respond, because dammit, he has to compose himself again. But, when he finally does, there's a faint, guarded smile as he turns on the feed.]

[She has to blink for a minute, before her smile returns to her face; Something about him seemed...off at first, but she shook it off. Riku was...always distant, due to the darkness. But he was fighting it, and she was glad that she could see him now] Hey, Riku. You...everything okay?

[She's a little worried about the tone of voice he has despite the smile, and a flicker of that emotion crosses in her eyes but quickly disappears]

...the last thing I remember is closing my eyes before...Kairi and I merged...and then I felt funny and woke up here.

[All of a sudden, the feed cuts out. There's not even a whisper around- no clashing of swords, nothing.

[She's about to answer him back when the feed cuts] R...Riku? Riku!? [And yes, that is a scream that comes out with the hand on her arm. SFC turning off as she whips around, the device aimed to hit....

...Riku. An embarrassed and surprised expression, complete with a blush, crosses her face as she lowers the device to her side with a nervous laugh] O-oh. Hey, Riku....I...didn't think it was you. Sorry...

[And he reflexively backs away a bit, laughing a little. Aw, Kairi. Why so reflexive? Don't you know your friend's presence?]
