(no subject)
well. I am at Marcelle's house right now. whoop whoop. hehe. last night I went to see Nerve Agents at the phoenix... it was rad... cuz Tsunami bomb cancelled (well that part was sad...) but they added anoter band to the bill... Lugosi! That made me very happy. theyre really good. The Labrats played also. So rad.Loose change played too. I got pics of them and NA. i hope they came out ok. I was getting SO very angry cuz there were a lotta trendy kids at the show... & these 3 girls kept stage diving like 5 times in every stinkin song!! & being that I was up front.... well i nearly got killed. pissed me off cuz I couldnt take pictures, cuz i had to catch the,... one handedly.. (my camara was in my other hand)... so yeah. it got old QUICK. sometimes there were like 3 people on top of me at once. that was just grrr. I finally left when 3 kids jumped at once & I felt my neck crack... & I fell. My back still hurts from that. I couldnt sleep well. Ben says I should go see the chiaropractor. I dont think its that bad though.
I had no idea that Ben, Micah, & Luke were going to the show till Ben said to me "see you tonight" "but im going to the show" "i know" *signes off* i was all. hm. okay rad! I didnt really hang out with anyone at the show though. I wandered around looking for Oobliette (from Tsunami Bomb) to give her pics from there Gilman show on Jan 13. And I also wanted to talk to Tom, the guy who runs the Phoenix. H was busy; but th guy working the door gave me his office number. Luckily though, after the show, Veronica brought me up to talk to him. He seems like a cool guy. Anyway, I gave him Robert + Karens promo CD, and asked about having them play in the lobby or somethng. I also mentioned Eight Track Mind, so I hope I can get both of them, or one of thema show there. But there arent many indie shows there... but he said he'd listen to the demo & to call him on thursday. I think i hav a better chance at getting 8TM s show cuz there's more punk shows. We'll see though. I should burn the 8track cd i have & send it to him, since they dont have any more copies of the cd to sell yet. haha well i need to go to church... so... bye bye
