here's the deal
hey yall..i dunno how many people still read this. I agree with mimi that it is better than facebook, but i'm contending that i dunno..i'm just not gonna update it anymore because facebook is so f-ing addictive. i mean the amount of information you can gain just by browsing...i dunno. plus i never felt that comfortable updating this thing anyway.
so i wanted to leave this little thing with a poem because i wrote it about graduation
LINES
rain falls in parallel
lines that in the light
of the backyard
are silver strands
of an old woman's hair,
someone i never knew,
someone who may be dead now.
somehow, the drops remind me
of the 17 lines carved
by pocket knife into a nearby tree
that mark each year of my
life the way tango
instructors place feet on the floor
to teach new dancers
where to place their bodies
soaking, the backdoor is locked
and i'm unsure of where to go
