Frickin Mortors!
I've been in Iraq at Camp Diamondback for four days. Every day there have been multiple mortor attacks and one IED (improvised explosive device). The closest one to me was just this afternoon when three mortors hit right next to our dining facility. I was in the post office at the time, training for my new job. The post office by the way is almost directly across from the dining facility! We could /feel/ the explosion! Talk about nerve wracking! Holy cow. Other than that all is well. I am very homesick.
