He Loves Me "Knot" [Part Two]

Nov 14, 2013 23:16

His throat was dry, his lips were chapped, but that wasn’t what was really pissing him off at the moment. No, he was more just generally pissed at himself. He was smarter than this, had always been cautious, yet here he was being carted off to who knows where, to be a wolf’s ‘mate’. Which, for the record, Jinki didn’t believe for a second. A werewolf and vampire pairing was unheard of, a laughable notion, but even if it was true, he would rather die than resign himself to that kind of a life, because as much as he hated to admit it, Jinki was terrified of werewolves.

Ever since they’d nearly torn him apart as a child, he’d refused to even think of hunting outside, opting instead to drink from the servants in his household. He was the equivalent of a vampire Rapunzel, he supposed, choosing rather to stay in his tower than have to go out and face the real world. His parents had thought him weak, and maybe he was, which was why they’d started bringing werewolves back from the raids they had monthly… alive.

His first pet had been a terrifying experience, but it was also when he’d found out about his ‘ability’. Apparently not only could werewolves not scent his emotions -they were notorious for being able to smell fear, arousal, the like- but he also emitted something akin to catnip for wolves. He rarely had to have sex with his prisoners to get information out of them, his scent driving them to do practically whatever he asked if he was close enough to them. Did he feel bad watching them one by one get killed after he’d gotten all the information he could out of them? At first? No. Watching them die was a sort of justice for him, a healing process, but now…? Minho had been the first one he’d ever actually felt remorse for when thinking he would have to be put to death. Oh what poetic justice.

One of Minho’s hands slid teasingly along the back of his bare thigh, making him growl through his gag. The wolf merely chuckled, continuing his petting as he talked.

“I remember the first night I saw you,” he said wistfully. If Jinki wouldn’t have been gagged, his retort would have been, “I remember the first night I raped you.” Hey, don’t judge.

“We were on a rescue mission, four of us, and we all just get bowled over by this scent coming from this tower window. I’d heard rumors of a vampire that could lure wolves to him like the moon, but hadn’t believed it till that very moment. Also wouldn’t have believed said vampire would be my mate, yet here we are.”

Jinki rolled his eyes. This wolf sounded more like a love sick puppy to him, not big and bad. He also talked entirely too much in his opinion. He preferred the silent brooding type from before, ignoring the fact that at the time he’d wanted Minho to talk to him constantly in that sexy voice. So he was fickle, okay?

His tied hands rested on Minho’s lower back, being draped across his shoulder as he was. The black tail he’d been staring at for the past two hours - not Minho’s ass, to be clear - swished up, brushing against one of his hands. How strange it must be to have a furry appendage constantly, did that make wearing clothes odd? Not that wolves were notorious for wearing clothes in the first place, they got in the way too much when they changed to their true forms. The thought sent shivers down his spine, and not the good kind.

When the tail came up to brush against him yet again, he snatched at it roughly, but all plans to potentially injure Minho left his mind as soon as he got a good hold on all that beautiful black fur. It put his bed sheets to shame. If he got out of this alive he’d have to seriously think about redecorating his room with fur.

Minho’s body shuddered underneath him as he stroked the soft hairs repeatedly, as much as his bound hands could reach. He was shoved up against a tree before he knew what was happening, his bound hands being held over his head while Minho held him up by pinning their hips together, which was just as well seeing as how his legs had fallen asleep. His dick? Not so much. He watched in a mixture of impatience and fear as Minho’s lips slowly came closer to his own.

Their would be tryst was interrupted by someone calling out to them, however, the angry growl Minho letting out mere inches from his face being an effective bucket of ice water over his own traitorous body. It was easy to forget that their human forms hid things even real monsters should be afraid of. The wolf stared down at him, bright blue eyes assessing, before once again picking him up, this time so he was cradled in his arms.

A figure jumped out of the bushes at them, successfully knocking Minho off balance so the three of them fell into a pile on the ground, Jinki unwillingly squished in the middle.

“Minho, you chode, what took you so long?!” the man on top of him said happily. Jinki stared up at him in confusion, yellow eyes meeting his own rust red ones in interest. What kind of hierarchy did wolves have that they would call their superior a ‘chode’? Maybe they were brothers?

“Jonghyun, kindly get off of us,” Minho growled at the bottom of the pile. Like he couldn’t have gotten up easily anyway. Jinki watched in fascination as the other wolf adhered to Minho’s command easily, even helped them up with a sheepish grin.

“Jinki, this is Jonghyun, Jonghyun, Jinki. My mate.” Jonghyun’s eyes widened impossibly, his mouth opening slightly until he caught Minho’s eyes and looked away respectfully. Jinki bristled. He refused to be known merely as ‘a mate’. He was a vampire prince and should be feared as such.

Jonghyun’s happy go lucky attitude came back as soon as he locked eyes with Jinki again, however. Apparently he couldn’t read that he was royally pissed off through his eyes. “Yep, that’s me, the all mighty third in command of this rag tag pack!” If he hadn’t been gagged he would have asked who the second in command was, but he figured he’d find out soon enough.

“Don’t worry,” Minho mock whispered into his ear, clearly so everyone could hear him, “You outrank him.”

Jonghyun scoffed, punching Minho in the arm impossibly hard, but it must be a mere love tap for wolves. Jinki himself had felt the force of the blow just being held by Minho. If they didn’t kill him on purpose they’d most likely do it eventually from how they ‘played’.

“Why does he have a gag?”

“I’ll take it off when we reach camp,” Minho shrugged, though he looked down at Jinki doubtfully. Apparently he knew him well enough to not trust what he’d say without a gag shoved in his mouth. Bully for him.

The two of them continued walking; he said two because he wasn’t walking at all, much to his frustration, until they eventually came to a clearing, Minho actually setting him down on his feet for once. The gag re-cracked his chapped lips as it was removed, his eyes glowing as he sucked at his own lip, but the blood was a welcome distraction.

He looked distastefully at his meager surroundings, the hundreds of dirty tents and equally dirty occupants all turning curiously in their direction. “I should have known you’d be living like filthy animals,” was the first thing any of these wolves heard out of his mouth.

Needless to say, the gag was back in full effect.

He wasn’t sure what Minho thought of him, but these bonds made out of mere fabric were not even remotely going to hold him, but hey, it’s always better for an enemy to underestimate you rather than overestimate you. He sat in the corner of the large tent and pouted for added effect, staring over at his captor that was pacing the confined space like a caged animal. Seeing as how it was so close to the full moon that’s probably exactly what he felt like at the moment anyway.

“Are you gonna feed me anytime soon, or I am going to have to seduce one of the other dogs running around off their leashes?” Jinki said bitterly. The gag had been removed as soon as they had walked into Minho’s tent. No doubt he was regretting that decision by now.

“You didn’t feed me for weeks, I think you’ll live for one night.”

Jinki added some more oomf to his pout. “You’re a big bad wolf though. I’m a weak little vampire, I’ll die if I don’t drink…” Minho’s eyes showed him exactly what he thought of the phrase ‘weak little vampire’, though his half snarl faltered when Jinki’s lips puckered up cutely. “Do you want me to beg?” he asked quietly, watching as Minho stopped his pacing to come over to him with lust clouded eyes.

“No, I want you to be good,” Minho whispered back, his hand grasping Jinki’s chin to tilt his head up so they locked eyes.

“I’m always good,” Jinki promised, licking his lips slowly.

Minho groaned, but looked away, his head turning sharply to the tent entrance. When two other wolves came in, Jinki hissed and backed as far away as he could scoot, snapping at Minho’s hand when he made to keep him close. Minho’s clear eyes narrowed with an expression Jinki couldn’t name before he walked over to the two wolves, one of which was Jonghyun, which made him relax slightly.

“We’re ready to go whenever you are,” Jonghyun said happily, his eyes wandering to where Jinki was huddled in a corner, his eyebrows raising in question at him. Jinki flipped him off as best as his bound hands would allow, making the wolf laugh openly.

“Good, but why did you bring Taemin with you?” The unspoken ‘you know Jinki hates strangers’ was left off even though three of the four of them knew that’s why he had asked in the first place.

It took one walk of shame to the middle of the crowded tents for Minho to realize Jinki was absolutely scared shitless of werewolves. He’d held his bravado well until one in completely turned form had walked past, making him stiffen and grasp Minho’s arm for dear life, tears shining in his eyes but to his relief never falling.

It didn’t help that the wolf had taken one whiff of him and decided he wanted to inspect him closer, Minho having to use force to get him to back off, and by the package he was showing off proudly, it had definitely been a ‘him’. Even the wolves that had first heard him speak poorly of them had wanted to come and scrutinize him. At this point, he’d give his left nut to not smell so damn good to this barbaric breed.

Jonghyun shrugged. “It’s just Taemin, what’s the omega of the pack gonna do, cuddle him to death?” The look Jinki gave Jonghyun implied he would be the one dying if any cuddling went down, which just made him erupt into a fit of laughter all over again.

The thinner, weaker looking wolf, that Jinki could only assume was this ‘Taemin’ the other two were talking about, got down on all fours and slowly crawled over to him, his head low. Jinki didn’t talk wolf, had no idea what he was trying to show by this stance. When the smaller boy looked up with timid bright blue eyes and tilted his head to the side, Jinki bared his fangs, trying his best to puff up and look intimidating. Some job he could do of that while being tied up.

The boy emitted a whine so animal sounding it looked ridiculous coming from him as one of his hands came out to gently touch one of Jinki’s feet. It looked like Minho had meant to warn Taemin off, but before he could, Jinki’s foot lashed out, connecting with the soft underside of the boy’s chin. He watched in unmasked satisfaction as the wolf careened back and collapsed onto the floor for a brief second, before springing back up as if nothing had happened.

When he made to come at him again, Minho growled and swiped out at the smaller boy in warning, but that only made the omega whine and run over to Jinki faster. His expression must have been horrified as the wolf scrambled up to him and scooted their bodies around until Taemin was successfully hiding behind him, his hands coming up to wrap around Jinki’s torso as he nuzzled his face into Jinki’s back.

“What the fuck’s going on,” Jinki said stiffly. Surely if he didn’t move Taemin would forget he was there and go away. Wolves were like dinosaurs right? Fuck why hadn’t he done more research on them?

“He seems to think you can protect him from us,” Jonghyun choked out, as if he wasn’t sure what was funnier, Jinki’s face or Taemin’s idiotic thought. “It’s your own fault for acting like such an alpha when he was only trying to make friends.”

“Yes, cause I look so strong right now,” Jinki muttered, stiffening up even more when Taemin’s tongue came out to lick him experimentally. He shoved back into him hard, but the effect would have been better if he was shoving him into a stone wall and not a flimsy tent one, but Taemin got the idea well enough. No tongue play on a first date.

“It’s probably the scars,” Jonghyun shrugged.

Jinki’s eyes flashed up at him angrily, and if Taemin hadn’t been holding him so tightly, he would have launched himself at the wolf already. “Don’t you ever bring them up again, you fucking cur!”

Minho sighed and shoved Jonghyun out of the tent before he said something stupid, coming over and picking Taemin up by the scruff to kick him out as well.

“You successfully managed to piss off one of the strongest males in the pack and befriend the absolute weakest. And here I thought you were smart,” Minho said, tsking. “If only you were as quiet as I was under your tender care.”

Jinki stiffened. He seemed to be doing that a lot lately, which couldn’t be good for his health or his sanity. “No one has ever treated me so rudely before, and when the fuck are you going to provide me with clothes? I’m not an animal like you all are.”

Minho snarled down at him, but Jinki was starting to think that was just his mildly annoyed face and not the ‘I’m going to rip your throat out’ face like he had originally thought. “We wear clothes, but the full moon's less than an hour away. We won’t be in these forms for much longer, many have already taken off, in fact.”

Way to remind me you’re all fucking monsters, Jinki thought bitterly to himself. If he had any say and any alone time, he wouldn’t be sticking around for very long either.

“I’m going to tie you up to this post now,” Minho said, reaching his hands out slowly, so he wouldn’t spook him maybe? Jinki sighed the entire time, disappointed that his initial ‘it’s too tight, you’re hurting me’ tactic hadn’t worked. When all was said and done, Minho looked down at him appreciatively, his eyes roving his entire body, making Jinki uncomfortable and uncomfortably hard all at once. “I was going to take you tonight under the full moon, but I hadn’t realized how terrified you were of my kind.” When Jinki said nothing but continued to stare coldly at him, he added quietly, “Those scars were caused by wolves, weren’t they?”

Jinki’s gaze slipped past him, his expression blank as he replied, “I don’t want to talk about them, remember?” Minho’s head dipped down to his neck, his tongue tracing over his most prominent scar. That blow had been meant to kill, too bad for those wolves it hadn’t. Only one had gotten away with his life that day.

Even with Minho’s mouth so close to his throat, Jinki felt nothing but pleasure as the tongue continued to lick at every exposed scar along his neck and shoulders. He had them all over, but the worst ones were around his vitals. Wolves always went for the kill, so why wasn’t this one? Maybe the mate thing was true… but vampires weren’t like wolves, didn’t feel compelled to be monogamous, so too bad for Minho.

He pulled back when he was satisfied with his work apparently, that or so he didn’t make them both any hotter than they already were, and pressed his forehead against Jinki’s, his eyes so blue they made Jinki think of sapphires.

“I have to go now before I scare you,” Minho murmured, his hands gliding along his pale flesh regretfully. “Be a good boy while we’re gone.”

“And what the hell am I supposed to do, huh?”

“Maybe you should have thought about that before you did the exact same thing to me,” he smart mouthed back before exiting the tent, blowing a kiss before he was gone entirely.

Jinki had a snarl of his own on his face, but waited a good ten minutes before trying, “Taemin, Taemin, here boy,” whistling for him like a dog. Well what else was he supposed to do? He hadn’t expected it to work anyway, but when the boy’s poofy haired head peeked into to the tent -thank God he was still in his human form- he almost jumped in excitement, but instead asked nonchalantly, “What are you still doing here?”

“The weakest of the pack leave last on runs, otherwise they’d hunt us down right from the get go,” the boy shrugged. Jinki internalized that information for another day. Did that mean they got hunted down anyway, just later rather than earlier?

“And are you running in vampire territory tonight?”

The boy looked at him like he was nuts. “No way, with all the raids they’ve been having recently, and now you being taken, those woods would be an automatic death sentence. We run towards our territory, the woods around our den.”

“You mean, you guys don’t live here…?”

Taemin’s face was only getting more and more weirded out. “Why would we live in a bunch of smelly, tiny tents?”

“Well why are you here in the first place?” Jinki asked, exasperated.

“We’re waiting to get our alpha back,” he said in an obvious tone, as if Jinki should know this.

“But Minho’s back already…”

His expression showed that he was finally rethinking that alliance he had formed with Jinki earlier. Smart boy. “Minho could very well be the future alpha, but for now he’s second in command, is only acting as alpha until we get our real one back.”

“How long has your alpha been missing…?”

“Not that long, a few months maybe? Everyone kinda assumes he only took you as a bargaining tool, but I can tell they’re wrong. You’re here for the long haul, huh?” the omega asked, his hand gently coming up to paw at Jinki’s face before he backed away shyly, waving goodbye timidly before answering back to a howl and running off.

Jinki’s mind was reeling, and not, most likely, for what most would suspect. His kind had thought Minho was the alpha for at least 30 years now, but apparently he was just a cover to protect the real alpha? And they had the real alpha in their dungeons at the moment? He hadn’t thought any wolves were kept alive at the keep… was this one he’d never come in contact with for some reason? And if so, why?

His nails slicing easily through the fabric that was confining him, he rubbed at his wrists briefly before poking his head out of the tent after a few minutes of not sensing any movement. It wasn’t a choice for werewolves on the full moon, they had to turn into their true selves, let out the beast, as it were. What a perfect opportunity to escape.

But even as he thought it, his legs turned to jelly underneath him. The last time he’d been out during a full moon he’d nearly been ripped to shreds, and he hadn’t even been in the woods or close to a werewolf camp, but he didn’t have a choice. Steeling his resolve, he ran as fast as he could in the direction they had come from earlier that day.

Little did he know he wasn't even remotely going to make it back to his keep that night, and he'll have sorely wished he would have just stayed in the tent like Minho had commanded.
