Set My Soul On Fire [Part Three]

Oct 27, 2013 23:06

Title: SMSOF
Pairing: 2woo
Rating: R (more for the graphic aspect of it, but I'm sure there is NC-17 on the way)
Genre: supernatural, smut, romance, action, horror
Summary: Dongwoo couldn't just have a normal job like other humans. Hell, he couldn't be normal period. Even with the help of his new hell hound familiar, it was still a hard job being a necromancer, especially with a soul snatcher on the loose praying on humankind that would like nothing more than to take over his body.

Part Three

A pair of hands slid around his waist, pulling him back against a very naked form. Woohyun. Dongwoo moaned as he placed a kiss onto his neck, teeth gently grazing his skin, making him shiver. He really needed to stop having sex dreams about his familiar, but as long as Woohyun didn’t find out…

“You’re rather quiet tonight,” Woohyun’s voice rang out in the empty white expanse, the amusement there in his tone just like in real life.

“Bad night.”

“I know, but you don’t have to think about that right now,” he comforted, his hands ghosting over his hips to slide down… further. He had to hand it to his brain, it made Woohyun seem so real, as if this dream doppelganger actually knew what had happened earlier… but why did he only ever have lucid dreams whenever Woohyun was in them?

“Quit thinking about it, you know I won’t let anything bad happen to you,” his dream lover growled in annoyance, grasping his cock firmly, making him groan. Turning around in his arms, their cocks slid against each other’s teasingly, one of his legs being held up by Woohyun to wrap around his waist, easier access for him to slide into him…

“What a touching sight,” an unfamiliar, yet at the same time much too familiar voice rang out in the white void that was quickly turning black at the edges, and looming darker with each passing second. They were clothed in moments, which didn’t make sense rationally, but it was a dream after all. If he wished them to be wearing clothes, they’d be wearing clothes, but he hadn’t even been thinking of that, was too freaked out.

An ominous growl erupted from Woohyun’s barely parted lips, a snarl quickly warping his expression. He was pushed roughly behind the hellhound, though the man in question was looking around uncertainly, as if he didn’t know which way the voice was coming from. That made two of them.

“Down, mutt,” the voice hissed, a dark blue flame shooting out to hit the center of Woohyun’s chest, not that it would hurt him, Dongwoo’s mind assured him. He was made of fire. “Give us some alone time.”

Woohyun struggled at first as the flame engulfed his entire body, but with a last howl of frustration, he disappeared, leaving the voice and Dongwoo alone. Well shit.

“You may think I’m some weak little kid, but you’ll find it rather hard to fuck with me,” he growled, his hands rising in a defensive stance.

“Weak? Calling you weak would be an insult to me as well, young necromancer. No, for now, I’ve just come to talk. Your familiar is lying to you.” A shadowy figure emerged from the darkness, but Dongwoo could make out no distinguishable features... yet.

“Woohyun’s not the one I’m worried about," he said, taking a step closer. It was always better to know what you were up against.

“Maybe you should. Have you not wondered why he uses his blood during reanimations instead of having you use your own? He’s making you weak, your corpses even more so. The power you possess could be so much stronger, but don’t worry, I plan on rectifying that,” the figure assured, floating closer and closer until Dongwoo could finally make out the coal black eyes underneath the dark hood.

“Dongwoo, Dongwoo, Dongwoo,” the man tsked, at least he assumed it was a man. Hands reached out towards his neck, shriveled black nubs with nails as long as the digits themselves. Another clawed hand was trying to shake him awake, he could tell, his name being yelled, though it seemed so far away. For whatever reason, he was stuck in this dream, this nightmare, with this hellish creature that knew his name.

“God damnit Dongwoo, wake up!” Woohyun growled, roughly shaking the sleeping boy’s shoulders. The other entity in the dream had somehow ‘forced’ him out of the plane in Dongwoo’s mind, which, once again, shouldn’t be possible. Just what the fuck were they dealing with here? No matter what he tried, his master wouldn’t wake up. He stopped trying to wake him all together when he thought that. That’s right, he was his familiar.

His palms going to rest over Dongwoo’s heart, his soul, he let his powers seep into the skin, watching in fascination as his normally red flames turned bright blue when interacting with Dongwoo's own magical essence.

“If I can’t help you in the normal sense, you’re just gonna have to use this as a substitute... and you better get your ass back to me in one piece.”

Before the thing’s hands wrapped entirely around Dongwoo’s throat, his own body went up in flames, a slightly brighter shade of blue than what had engulfed Woohyun earlier.

“Damn hellhound doesn’t know when to stop meddling. I should have killed him first,” the man mused, stepping back from him warily.

“You touch one hair on his head and you’re dead,” Dongwoo growled, a blast of fire erupting from his outstretched hand. He’d seen Woohyun do it enough, but he was glad it worked the same when he wielded fire magic, otherwise he’d just be standing there like an idiot in a weird ass superhero pose.

The thing merely chuckled as the cape burned away, revealing a grotesque figure, as black as it’s eyes, skin sinking, breaking apart where it was pulled too tight, revealing bone. He’d never use the saying ‘skin and bone’ again. Still, he had the feeling this 'thing' had once been human...

“You and I both know death wouldn’t be all that bad. I’ll make sure your familiar is dealt with before we talk again, however, I was just so curious after feeling your power earlier. I can assure you I won't make the same mistake again. Until next time.”

As soon as he vanished, the world in his mind once again went white...

But a slap to the face is what woke him up, sputtering and sweating, a very scared hell hound grasping him to his bare chest, his protective flames covering them both, the bed sheets catching on fire around them. Fuck bed sheets anyway, he thought, his arms wrapping around Woohyun just as tightly.

___________________________

“Are we gonna talk about what happened last night?” Dongwoo asked quietly as they walked through the supermarket, new bedding thrown absently into the cart by an uncharacteristically quiet hell hound.

“I felt you were in trouble but couldn’t help you, so I lent you my powers,” Woohyun shrugged, but turned to look at him as he said it, concerned red eyes staring into his own.

But Dongwoo was having none of the sad puppy dog act. “It wasn’t just a dream, was it? Was any of it… ever?” He recalled all the times they’d had sex in his dreams before last night, his face flushing an angry red.

“Damnit, Dongwoo, who gives a fuck about the astral sex! What did he do to you? Did he hurt you? Did he touch you?!” His voice was so feral it was almost inhuman, which was fine in their own home, but not here, plenty of people turning to look in mild interest. He ducked away from Woohyun, grabbing the bedding and paying for it in a huff, before practically running out the doors, an angry familiar nipping at his heels.

Before they got to their apartment, however, Dongwoo was throwing the purchased items at Woohyun’s head. “You go home. I need to go to the school before we have this talk.”

He caught it on reflex, but dropped it immediately, choosing rather to grasp Dongwoo’s arm. “If you think I’m leaving you alone ever again…”

“I’ll be safe at the school," he interrupted, annoyed.

“I’m not even sure if you’re safe with me, and I’m a hundred times stronger than anyone at your so called ‘school’. No, you’re staying here with me.”

Dongwoo bit his lip in true anger before uttering, “You will pick up the comforter set, go up to the apartment, and you will sit in the closet until I come back,” magic whispering through his words. What he had just said was ridiculous in it's own right, but he didn't know what else to do anymore. Woohyun could easily force him into the apartment with his strength alone, and he couldn't have that right now.

If Woohyun had been in his hound form, his ears would have gone down, upset, but all Dongwoo saw was hurt with a mixture of panic and...disbelief in his glowing eyes before the man was forced to follow his orders, his steps stilted and unnatural.

He had the ability to control Woohyun when it came down to it, that being one of the agreements in the familiar pact, but he had sworn never to use those powers on him. It had been a major step in their trust that he hadn’t used it in their relationship up until now… but Woohyun was being unreasonable. He hadn’t been any safer with Woohyun in his dreams than he had without, and he needed to relieve some stress without one of the main problems causing it around.
But who’s powers were the ones that saved your ass last night? His own mind mocked at him, making him furious. Great, even he was pissing himself off today.
