Occasionally it sounded korean, but not really... not really at all... the only reason I say that is because he said 'aiiiiishhhh' when trying to pay lol but otherwise, that was NOT korean. No idea. But they did look at me weird when they'd ask something in sputtered english and I'd respond by 'mmm' head nod hahahaha if it was korean, it's like nothing I've ever heard of, I automatically assumed tagalog at first, their accent was just so... not korean... at least not like how i've ever heard it, plus I couldn't make out any words... and they didn't look korean... I dunno. I'm just confused lol I'll just delete it from my brain... although they were looking up cute korean hairstyles... but I SWEAR it wasn't korean. NO IDEA. Okay, deleted now.

I'm only really familiar with Mandarin, Japanese and Korean, so I'm not really sure. Mandarin is pretty distinctive if you can recognise the intonation, and they have really odd consonants, so it doesn't really sound much like Korean. Maybe Burmese or something? Or it could just be a dialect that sounds really different? Idk. If you're trying to recognise Korean, listen for the 은/는 sound, because it's a topic marker and used all the time.
