He feels her everywhere. It's comforting in a way, but it hurts too. He just wants her back, wants her home, in his arms, just here with him.
He smells her perfume in the air and her shampoo on the pillow and he aches, closing his eyes and breathing her in. He feels her touch at night and wants to reach out and feel her warmth again.
He never thought it was possible to feel so miserable and be in so much pain before, but losing her made him well aware of that fact.
He clings to the memories he has of her and her smile and her eyes and her hair and just her and him together and he hopes that, wherever she is, she's okay and happy and that he'll see her again somehow.
He makes through each day because he knows Allison needs him too, but he still aches, alone at night in their bed without her there beside him. He aches and thinks of her smile and it eases the pain a little.
He buries his face in her pillow and imagines he can still smell her scent and feel her hands on his bare skin and lets the pain throb in his heart.
He'll always love her.
