Author's Notes: I don't own Teen Wolf, if I did all the hot men on the show would be mine. I actually do know how to crochet so the image of Peter trying a hand at it is pretty funny.
Peter wasn't a patient man but for John he would just about do anything. That included learning how to crochet so that he can make his husband something warm for Beacon Hill's chillier evenings. Instead of buying pre-made and store bought, he thought it would more to John if Peter made him a sweater instead of standing on a long line in Macy's to buy one. He didn't know, however, that crocheting wasn't as easy as it looked and it would take some serious commitment on Peter's part to learn.
At first he got a book that only had patterns and didn't really have step by step instructions on how to make a crocheted stuff animal. So Peter did what every sane person would and went on YouTube in hopes of finding someone that would show each step as slowly as possible. Thankfully, he had found what he was looking for. Welding his pink G Susan Bates crochet hook, Peter started with a chain stitch which turned into a mess. With knotted yarn scattered all over the living room, the werewolf was about to give up (for the sake of his own sanity).
Yet Peter kept imaging the look on his husband's face when he received the sweater the werewolf made on Christmas morning. So he persevered and continued his chain stitch. Unfortunately, he couldn't seem to get further than that and Peter decided that crocheting was not for him. That, of course, meant waking up early to beat the holiday traffic in order to stand in line with his purchase. But for John he would endure the tortures of Christmas shopping would be worth it; as long as he didn't have to see another skein of yarn again.
