This would have been a really good Halloween horror fic! I was so creeped out.

Never really thought about making this a Halloween fic. Though it is obviously a little late for that now. I promise my Christmas fics will be posted at the appropriate seasonal time though. ;-)

Ha, there was a TNG episode just like this, also, with Riker. The butterfly who dreams he's a man who dreams he's a butterfly :) I loved it. Now I better rush off before I'm later to work!

Never watched TNG so I am afraid that episode has never made it to my tv. I am told by a couple of people that there is a similar Charmed episode as well. I must have seen that one since I have seen them all, but I am not recalling it right now. The Buffy one is the one that sticks in my mind - probably because the ending gave me the shudders.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed the story and thanks for commenting. Hope to see you have updated your own story when you get back from work. :-)

Thanks for your comments on my story. I am glad you enjoyed it and (since I am evil) that it unsettled you - since that is the reaction I was hoping to inspire in people.

Glad you liked the ending...I had to give them a happy ending in this fic, though I don't promise that with all of my stories.
