Hey, does anyone know a place I can buy the FMP 1-3(translated) novels? I tried Amazon and they wanted to charge me $40 for shopping and handling, which made me D: quite harshly. It's not listed at fishpond and out of stock in the book depositary ( Read more... )

My usual suggestions for secondary markets are Half.com (largely U.S. sellers), ABEBooks (U.S. and international sellers), and AddAll (U.S. and international sellers).

Sorry to bother, but do you know why prices seem to range between the acceptable $15 and up in to the $60s? o__o I can't work out if it's an error across stores, or some kind of discrepancy or just that highly in demand. D: Even Harry Potter never cost that much

It probably has something to do with the difficulty in finding the book. The rarer it is, the more people will charge for it.

This. A book in short supply will get pricey, particularly if there's any kind of collectors' market for it.

I hadn't realised it was so popular! Haha maybe I can convince the local library to get it if I cannot get each at a less collector-type price ^^;
