I really don't want to spend any more money, but I'm worried about my camera (which I have yet to name), so I might grab some $$$ and spend just a bit more on a nice little camera sack to put it in. We'll see. Hopefully my discussion with the bank goes well tomorrow morn. After that it's work at the coffee shop and home for one solid night of laundry and WoW before I go on my grand trip. I've made arrangements to be in Texas on Tues and Wed, then it's off to Chicago Wed night and there until the 2nd (I truly can't wait for the New Year's party). Overall, I'm very excited, though slightly agitated at the thought od having to pack an extra large bag for two small trips. C'est la vie, I guess. It'll be worth it to have the extra room because I know my mom is probably going to want to take me clothes shopping (I'll look so fashionable when I'm done...). Ugh. I'll also have to pack a bag specifically for all the gifts I'm carting along with me. That ought to make this adventure a bit more interesting.
I think I've decided to do
Jiraiya for Acen. It's a fairly simple costume, a character that I like, and most importantly - a character who's not 13 years old. For some reason that has really been bothering my decision this year. This also gives me a chance to ogle the pretty girls at the con and if Jen gets mad at me, I can just tell her that I'm gathering information for my new book (just kidding sweetheart! ^_^;;). So that should come together nicely now that I've decided.
And that's about it for now - oh! I got a new bookshelf, as I mentioned before, and now I've got all my books fairly organized so there's no overflow. Bonus. Also, I hung up a really cool map of Gondor and Rohan that I have. I'll post some pics soon, I think.
