Dear Al,
I've read as much history as I can possibly stand over the past week or so and I've still hardly made a dent, despite the all-nighters, so I'm switching subjects for now. The physics of this era are quite advanced, and I only halfway understand them but they're grounded enough in what I already know that I can more or less muddle through. There's a British physicist named Stephen Hawking who has some interesting ideas about cosmology; I've set some of his volumes aside to look at when I've got more of a grounding. Apparently much of his work stems from that bastard Einstein's general theory of relativity. I'd like to know how far he managed to leech into the field.
I discovered recently that Russel Tringham is here...you remember him, one of the imposters? His dad too, apparently. I might have split a desk when I heard that. Why them? Why more and more people I know from Amestris and not you? It was better when I was in Munich and starting to think there was no hope at all. I can't take much more of this.
I
There's a man here who claims to be a wizard. He's invited me to observe his magic at work. I'll let you know what I find out.
