Thread-hopping: Please ask for my permission first. It depends on the circumstances.

Hugging: Ed's reaction to this will be varied depending on the character. For most instances, he'll push the person away. For some, he'll punch people. And for Envy, he'll do his best to beat to a bloody pulp. If Ed manages to get particularly close to anyone, he might accept it.
Kissing: Again, it depends on the character, though in all cases, he'll flip out and ask what the hell is wrong with said person. Depending on who you are, he'll either push the other person away, punch/kick them, and if you're Envy, try to beat to a bloody pulp.
Flirting: Most attempts at flirting will be blatantly ignored or fly over his head. If it's really obvious, he'll get annoyed and tell said person to STFU and leave him alone.
Fighting: Ed is trained in martial arts, so even without his alchemy, he can pretty much carry his own. Also realize that Ed has a steel arm and a steel leg, and he will punch/kick as hard as he can with them. For those characters that are able to kick his ass (I'm sure there are quite a few, and I'm looking at you too, Envy.) he can take a pretty good beating, but he will tire out after a while. Also, a good hit on the head or kick in the stomach will stun him pretty well if it doesn't knock him out.
Injuring: Ed tends to put himself in a lot of trouble, so it's likely for him to get injured sooner or later. (Sooner, since his mun is a sadistic bitch in his opinion.) If your character has the ability and the reason, they can beat him to a bloody pulp. However, I would prefer minimal damage done to his automail, though if a Winry appears, this will change.
Killing: I see you thar, Envy. :P I'm not one to kill off my characters. This could change if there's a situation that may call for it or if any of you manage to convince me otherwise. I'm not completely closed off to the idea, so feel free to contact me to plot stuff through Ed's journal, my Plurk (earthykitty) or my AIM (cantfytmoonlyt).
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: If your character has said ability, go for it. Just realize that Ed has a fucked up history.
