The NYC Comic Con is this Sunday, so geek-girl here is immensely pleased. Some of the cosplay in past years... makes my head explode. I guess that it helps that it's in nyc, and everyday is halloween as we well know. So multiply the sprawling urbania/metropolis with a horde of city folk and some Evangelion suits... ^_____^ I'm sad that Baby the Stars Shine Bright are not on the guest list this year, it takes some of the frill off of my cake. Oh, Alice and the Pirates. Determined not to dress down, I've stocked up with white pasty manic panic stuff... I'm sure that I can doll up as a neko and still pass for a twelve year old or something to cheapskate my way through. And yes, Nim-chan, I'm working on that nice pair of pre-bondage pants for youuuuu.
Ugh, and high-school. It's why I have the energy for my incoherent, bimonthly LJ post. It's going from a splendid nervous breakdown to euphoria. Great, I dragged my arse through GRF and my lovely SHSAT flip-out and got to STUYVESANT, and Bard, my quirky alt-school. I can't decide... Though that's probably the least of anyone's problems, getting into 2 top first choice schools. ::hovery black-crayon cloud of indecision hovers overhead::
