Who May Attend?
My friend is always trying to get me to go to one of these events, just to hear MEE speak but I have refused because they didn't allow nursing mommy's to bring their little ones. Even though I am not currently nursing a little one, imagine my delight when I read this: "Time Out for Women events are designed for women age sixteen and older. We regret that children & toddlers cannot be accommodated. The only exception to this rule is for mothers with nursing infants."
Finally, an organization which pays so much lip service to motherhood is figuring out that nursing is an integral part of motherhood and should not be used as an exclusionary tactic to divide women. We have enough to deal with as mothers as it is, you know what I mean?
