According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (or US Catholic Conference of bishops, whatever)
It IS in fact a feast day of obligation. So you can iether go to Mass thsi evening as a vigil or tomorrow forthe actual feast!
There may be some confusion becuase I'm pretty sure since it fell on the Monday last year, it wasn't a holy day of obligation...i think because they aren't able to do a vigil because you can't do that on a Sunday!! i'm probably totally wrong! But yea,,, go to Mass..Jesus and his mom would be glad to have you!!
