Now I already told emilie about this game, so I figured I'd tell the rest of you. It is very fun and very addictive. It is called virtual villagers and it's on pogo.com. I'll post the link at the end. The game starts out with 7 villagers stranded on an island. You can only see a small portion of the island but that's good at the beginning. None of the characters have any skills or habits. They have no survival instinct. You literally have to take each character and show him or her what to do in order to survive. There are little hidden things to strive for that will help you in the game. I made the mistake of trying to build too many things at once and didn't show the characters how to farm until it was too late and they were a pile of bones. Literally. There was a pile of bones in the middle of this island. The other thing I like about the game is that even if you turn it off, it runs on its own. I left after this past weekend home with them farming and researching and will more than likely come back to a highly advanced civilization.....or they'll all be dead again. Either way it's hard to stay away from this game. I played the demo available on the website and liked it enough to buy the full version. You get to do all sorts of other things that way. The only thing I don't like about the game is that it is very slow and even though the options allow you to change the speed, it really doesn't affect the game. I honestly can't wait to get back to it. It's worth a look at least. Here is the link:http://www.pogo.com/game/deluxe/oberonjump.jsp?game=o111452470
