Originally uploaded by full_exposure. So, Sunday Brian and I went to the Hollywood Christmas Parade. It ain't nothing special but, it is right there and we were blocked in anyway. Well, before the Parade started I went over to check on my bike- I hadn't seen it since before NY. Well, when I turned the corner I saw all the Temp No Parking signs thrown up for the Parade. I was mad because I even made sure I parked it in a safe spot with parking- I had no idea about this parade and now my bike was towed away. We went on to the parade and decided to get it later that night to avoid a line.
It cost me $160.00 to get out and had a $65.00 ticket attached to my bike. SOOOOOOO not what I needed right now. The tow guys were kinda smug about the whole thing. They make so much money on that shit- The guy said they towed about 500 cars due to the parade street closing. What kinda sucks is I was towed on Yucca not Hollywood, and there is no reason to have No Parking on Yucca- they did not even use the space.
So, anyway I saw the News mentioning the Hollywood Tow towing so many cars and people being mad so, I decided to watch news at 6pm tonight to see if they mentioned something I can fight the fine for. As they were doing the story they showed clips of them towing cars and Mother Fuck there was my bike on the news being hoisted up by straps and driven away. WTF. Well, I had wondered how they towed it since I locked the steering and now I know... How bizarre.
