Reconstruction Site

Hey, the sun popped out. That's kinda nice, considering this is what's happening in my yard today:

As some of you might have known, we needed a new septic system. An ENTIRE new one. They're putting the tank in a different spot and creating a new leech field. Unfortunately in this process trees need to be hacked down.

These were two old Maple trees that have had a long life way before I even showed up here. I'm sad to seem them cut, especially since they were really pretty outside of our soon-to-be bedroom. The leaves came almost right up to the window. In the Autumn they were magnificent. I'm really really really bummed that they're gone. Our yard will be a little bit larger now, but I think I liked it the way it was. Also:

These ones are marked for death. :(

But, on the plus side, the construction in the basement is done. I'm so glad. Here are some pictures of the final product:

It's functional, but a bit cramped in the kitchen. It'll work out well for my mom and grandmother, though.

Tonight I'm going out to Livin' Goods with Jen when she's done work. Tomorrow is work all day and then some metal show at the Co-op. Another 14 hour day. Woo. I hope it gets done quickly. I need a break. Bitch bitch bitch.

New Resonator tune in the works called Cosmic Erotic. It's fucking awesome. Also finished a new Priests tune the other night. I think it's called Holy Hell, but I'm not sure. It'll rock your ears off. Priests also have a show coming up on June 18th at Gilligan's (formerly Jim's Place). We also might have a show with some metal bands at 242 on the 27th. If that one actually happens and anyone wants to represent the Pburgh scene by coming over that'd be sick.

Alright. I'm going to download Majora's Mask and give that fucking game a third chance. Peace.

Oh, wait, before I forget: Don't ever watch Seth Macfarlane's Cavalcade of Comedy thing. It's the most unfunny hour of your life that you can never get back. Trust me. Don't believe me? I dare you to laugh.
