WTF!?! I have a journal.. ohhhhh yeah.
So yeah I better get a post in here for July before I miss my post once-a-month thing I have been doing lately. My only excuse is that all the classes I was taking were trying to kill me and I just couldn't care and work up the energy for a well thought out post. Anyways... moving right along.
On Friday I finally went out and played L5R for the first time since the rise of the shogun release (Hell I wasn't really playing before that either.) I really enjoyed myself and want to get back into the game and be competetitve again. I bought myself only a spider clan starter and 4 boosters from Truest Test and was 1 and 2 for the night. Not too shabby. Anyways the point is there is a new set coming out, a reset for the most part, starting this weekend. There is a release event at Who's on first on Saturday (noon I beleive) with free pizza and another one out at Games of Berkeley on Sunday. Anyone else interested in going? I apperently have a reputation to uphold as the stalwart leading of a Livermore gang of Ronin players. Kellan tends to think I have a "crew" which is awesome in and of itself. I am looking at you Blowfish, onex, adnate, undeadbrit and Aquoon.
Next up is a night out at teh movies. I have been seeing some previews for this movie called "Sunshine". Doesn't that look amazing!!! So who wants to go and when. It appears to be only playing in SF on the IMAX which is awesomes but a bit of a travel. Also everyone should be looking forward to "The Golden Compass."
Okay and the last thing is this. I am split between two parties to go to this weekend as well, both on Saturday night. There is some crazy "Paradis Lost" Pirate/Explorer/Tiki party in SF and a Guitar Hero 2 party at Imperfect Shell's place. Man I want to RAWK!!! as well as get my Tiki lounge on. What to do, what to do.
Fulkerguy... Also the Ginger Kitten is hell of excited about getting Lion Clan on the L5R test, I hope one day her hot Matsu butt will be kicking ass and taking names right alongside me at GenCon.
