For the Senate and People of Roleplaying!!!
Well the Clubb now has a name. SPQR: Senatus Populusque Roleplayus or The Senate and People of Roleplaying.
The Senators (Members in High Standing) & Officers are:
Consul (Chairman): Robert "Fulkerguy" Fulkerson
Proconsul (Vice Chair): Andrew "Keshian" Robinson
Quaestor (Treasurer): Chris "Luthien" Yalon
Tribune (Scribe/Whip): Ryan "Xeno" Burton (Oosum)
Codicer (Librarian): Adam "Kain DeLurman" Jost
Our credo is a bit up for debate. I have come up with: Honor Character Initiative. There has been a suggestion for: Experience Character Initiative. If anyone has any other ideas for some Credos let me know. Here are some of the examples and translations.
Experience = callidus : clever, dextrous, experienced, skilful / cunning, sly.
# experior (experiri, expertus ) : to try, test, experience, prove.
# sentio : to perceive, experience, hold an opinion,.
Honor = # veneratio : respect, reverence, honor, veneration.
# ingenuus : free-born, noble-minded, upright, honorable.
# fides : promise, assurance, word of honor, engagement.
# honor : honor, esteem, public office.
Character = # mores, morium : ways, conduct, character, morals.
# persona : actor's mask, part, role /character, personality.
Initiative = # orsus : a beginning, undertaking, initiative.

Lastly is a poll to see if we want an LJ community for SPQR. It is $15 a year to set it up. Now as it is we will be taking in $300 in dues. I don't believe it will cost us much to have our own community. However, lets hear from the people, what do they want? I myself would like it because it keeps Senate stuff out my standard LJ and leaves it for the group itself.
