Wtf...Supernatural
So...I read possible "spoilers" for Supernatural season finale and they have me facepalming, pulling hair and shaking my head and wanting to yell, and then just...face palming.
So like...okay, I'm agreeing with most people and fandom and how ridiculous this show is getting. Bobby strikes a deal to get in with pestilence is bein' thrown around, and then there's the fact that dean "makes a deal" with death DEAN, ARE YOU AN IDIOT?? As several people pointed out, Dean sucks balls at making deals and just...I'm irritated by how they're all TEAM FREE WILL, when they could make this so much easier.
But I think the big thing is the speculation over character death, most spoilers say "a beloved character faces death" and fandom agrees that it's pretty much either bobby or Castiel. Both are likely for different reasons, Bobby because, while spoilers are confusing, that he makes a demon deal so he bites the dust, that and I think a LOT of people would be irritated with.
But I think the one that's more likely, and the one I don'twant to see get killed off or almost killed off is Castiel. For one, as much as it annoys me, Supernatural has been renewed for a sixth season and its going to "focus on the brother's relationship" meaning that it'll probably go back to the roots of season 1 and have everything go full circle I guess. That means however no angels, no demons, nothin'. That means the writers have to find SOME way to get Castiel out of there because he's pretty much x'ed any possibilities of him returning to heaven, so it would make sense that they'd write/kill him off. That and there's a semi-comfirmed spoiler saying that Castiel battles Michael yes Michael and whether it was implied or not but he's in pretty rough shape after it. So I figured the character that "faces death" would be Castiel since even I think a full fledged powered up angel couldn't do much against THE FUCKING GENERAL OF HEAVEN'S ARMIES. Yeah....no...
But why does this matter? Because I honestly think, that people will be angry about Bobby, there will be an uproar if Castiel is killed off. mortuary and myself included, one of the big reasons why we're even still watching Supernatural is because of Castiel and how he frankly is making season 5 that much better. And if they kill the ONE character left that I genuinely enjoy? :dusts hands: I'm done. That and I'm not too much of a fan of returning to the whole routes thing, the main reason I liked and got into Supernatural was for the demon aspect, and eventually in season 4, the angel vs. demons. So yeah...we'll see. But I probably will stop after season 5, and if they kill Castiel off? YAH I'm done. And I think Kripke will receive a lot more heat with that then that shit he pulled with Ruby (cuz even that was major WTFFF). But yeah, gay show is gay. But at least I'm getting back into it and liking it, I just hope they don't epicly fail in the process.
In conclusion I think I agree with my earlier statement, I'm slowly losing any and all credibility and affection I have for this show and Idk wtf is going on. But on the upside I did enjoy 5x16 a little and the Season Final promo which had death at the end lookin' very very badass indeed so that's SOMETHING to look forward to? Idk...I'm bracing for the bad...
