Tomorrow is World Water Day. I think it's important that everyone knows what a serious issue this is. According to the site, "More than 1 billion people around the world lack clean, safe drinking water. The lack of clean, safe drinking water is estimated to kill almost 4,500 children per day. In fact, out of the 2.2 million unsafe drinking water deaths in 2004, 90% were children under the age of five. [...] A third of the Earth’s population lives in “water stressed” countries and that number is expected to rise dramatically over the next two decades."

So everyone should do their best to try to conserve water, starting tomorrow.

Break has been good so far. I've had to watch my little sister while my parents are at work. She wanted to make cookies, and I've never made cookies before, but I agreed. Next thing we knew, all this smoke started coming from the oven, and the smoke detector went off. So I called the fire department. They came and said that everything was fine and I probably hadn't needed to call them. It's good that the house didn't burn down. But the cookies were ruined.

I haven't seen Eiji for a while. He's been busy. I miss him.

Tezuka, we should do something.
