the question: cat or dog?
My two roommates who are moving out and living together next year have been browsing around pet stores and websites to find the perfect dog for their new apartment (which I like to call the Taj Mahal). Now after participating in the ooo-ing and aah-ing of all the precious little puppies, I want a pet! Unfortunately, my apartment complex forbids animals. Assholes. However, Corey will be getting a condo as well in the fall, so I'm trying to ease the idea on him. My next concern is whether or not to get a cat or a dog. There are pros and cons to each seeing that cats are more independent and self-reliant, but dogs are technically mans best friend. I've always been fond of cats (<3 Molly), but my opinion has been swaying towards dogs after the countless Girls Next Door reruns I've been catching on VH1. They have approximately 4.9 billion different breeds of dogs that are all adorable. I can't decide!!!
Sidenote: this is merely a counterproductive distraction from studying. The idea of me actually taking care of myself and an animal right now is laughable, but input on which is more preferable would be nice :>
