Hi guys! This is triedtoholdonto who has switched to crazy-ride. I know a lot of us have been switching lately, but I think it's a good thing...as we all have our personal reasons.

Well, I was randomly thinking today, and I think it would be fun to do some sort of a game!

i hope i'm doing this right.. we do our icon based on the person BEFORE us & not you right?

series: avatar: the last airbender.
text: AiR*
steps: 1. take this image here & crop it
2. filter > sharpen > sharpen
3. layer > duplicate layer (or ctrl+j)
4. on the new layer: filter > blur > gaussian blur (set it to any # higher than 2. i used 4.7)
5. set the new layer to soft light
6. layer > new > new layer (or shift+ctrl+n)
7. fill the new layer with a dark blue: #0a0a3d
8. set the dark blue layer to exclusion & set the opacity to 43%
9. layer > new > new layer (or shift+ctrl+n)
10. fill the new layer with a sky blue: #66b9df
11. set the sky blue layer to soft light & leave the opacity @ 100%
12. layer > new > new layer (or shift+ctrl+n)
13. using century goth in bold & italic (size 18) change the letter spacing to -75
14. type in the text & set the text layer to overlay
15. take this texture & set it to screen

Series: Avatar: The Last Airbender
Text: zuko
Steps:
01. take this image & crop it: 100x100 pixels.
02. duplicate, set to screen: 45% opacity
03. duplicate again, set to overlay 100% opacity
04. make a new layer, fill it in with #b13c02, set that layer to saturation 40% opacity
05. merge all layers (ctrl + shift + e) & desaturate (ctrl + shift + u)
06. take this texture and set it to multiply 100% opacity
07. take this texture and set it to Darken 100% opacity move it so it doesn't block zuko's face. i moved it to the left.
08. click the selection tool and select a piece of zuko's face. right click and layer via copy. move it to the left.
09. using birth of a hero (color: #7f0000 + size ) type in the text "zuko" and you're done! =)
