My second tutorial, featuring Control Freak of Teen Titans.
Done in Adobe Photoshop but I'm pretty sure you could translate it to other programs.

Ooooh awesome!

And for cropping you can click the crop tool and it says "fixed size" at the top where you can enter 100 px by 100 px. ^^;;

Another way is to hold down the shift button while cropping, that makes it stay a square :D At least, on macs.
