Well, not so much. =D I'm leaving for Manzanillo in a couple of hours and I wanted to tell this before I'd forgotten.
Early this morning:
Fújur: *walks in to library* I can has book, plz? *w*
Saleswoman: *checks up list* Uh.. I'm afraid we don't have the one in English yet.
Fújur: lolwhut? oO (thinking: We now have the fastest translators in the world? wtf?)
SW: Yeah, we only have the hardcover edition. The others'll arrive in the afternoon.
Fújur: ...(good thing this is not an anime or I'd have the biggest sweatdrop ever) ok, I'll be out of town the whole weekend. Gimme that one.
So, now I has book. =D Though I've been busy and I've only been able to read up to chapter five.
Anyways, can you belive that someone working in a bookstore doesn't know the difference between hardcover and paperback to that point? And, as I said, it was early in the morning and I was the only customer at the time, so she didn't have the excuse of having to juggle between a dozen people or so. >.>;;
I didn't tell her anything, though. I'm that nice and I have my LJ to talk about it. =D
Also, I managed to finish
Northern Lights last night so I could begin DH without feeling guilty: =3
It was good. o.o! Really! Just ask Noemí; I was annoying her with all my fretting as I read it. XD Yet (and, well, obviously), I won't read the next one until I finish DH--or I come back from the beach, whatever happens first. XD
