So, I can't sleep, which is pretty weird since my lazy ass usually rivals Shikamaru's.
Since Starknight has bought, read, and ranted on Ms. Paca's book, veneotaqueen asked me what I thought about it. I told her that I can't say anything unless I've read the thing myself. And no, that wasn't my lazy ass working a way around it; that was an honest answer. Honest.
That's what I went to Gandhi.com.mx to see if they were actually selling it over here--and I found out that that they're taking orders regarding HP7, and now I don't know if buy it there or in the usual bookstore, which is on-line-presence impaired. Also, in this bookstore, they are selling the one I was looking for. But it's too expensive; I'd give 8 dollars--tops--for it. So 12? No, thank you very much.
I also asked telrunya for a prompt to write a drabble. She said 'Artemis Fowl', and this is the result. No spoilers, but Artemis is going really, really soft.
Holly walked into Artemis' office, followed by Buttler. “Do you have it, Mudboy?” she said.
Artemis sighed deeply. “Are you aware of how much this has compromised my dignity?”
“I'm not a Mudmen folklorist,” she said, “but from what I've heard from Foaly, it couldn't have been so bad.”
Artemis put his chin on his hand. “In any case, what's done it's done.”
“Wise words. So, where is it?”
The boy threw a big, black bag to Holly. “There,” he said.
She smiled and gave a small package to Buttler. “That's Foaly's way to say 'thank you'.”
“It better be good,” Artemis said.
“If Foaly says it's good, then it's good.”
“Fine. But tell him that once his Snoopy-plushies collection is complete, I will absolutely not going to help him to start with Garfield!”
I watched The Dresden Files ep. 12. The one before that was Bob/Harry inclined, and this one was very Harry/Murphy. =D
Some guy: *dies*
Murphy&Harry: *are drinking beers and being BFF*
Murphy: *gets called into action*
Harry: *drives her*
Murphy: *meets her dad*
Murphy's dad: *yells at Harry*
Harry: butwe'rejustfriends!
Murphy: *yells at her dad*
Murphy's glasses: *get ruined*
Harry: *is a smartass*
Murphy: *is used to Harry being a smartass*
Harry&Murphy: *follow killer's trail*
Trail: *stops*
Harry: Slap me. o.o/
Murphy: Why? O.o
Harry: 'Cuz I need a strong emotion to enhance the magic. o.o
Murphy: I'm not going to slap you.
Harry: *BIG TIME KISS*
Murphy: *BIG TIME SLAP*
Harry: Yay! It works again! =D
Papparazi: *takes pictures*
Murphy's dad: *sees pictures* OMGWTF O_O
Stuff: *happens*
