Ara, Natsuki?

it's about time dear Shizuru realized that Natsuki has gone across the country for her, and for the sake of time continuity, can we pretend Shizuru has been here at least a few days?

Shizuru set a letter down on her desk and puttered around her astonishingly traditional looking room to do what she always seemed to be doing-

Liz pushed the door hesitantly further open and entered. Though she froze in her tracks at the sight inside the room. She was not unfamiliar with the girl on girl part - she and Katelyn did similar things quite often and enjoyed them. But it was something unexpected and Liz felt like she was intruding on something private.

"Ah... uhm... I make a cake for you... I see you two already know each other?"

OOC: Btw, Natsuki-mun? You can just reply to the latest comment given. ^^ It makes things clearer and easier to read. And I've loved this interaction between Natsuki and Shizuru so far. XDD

"Natsuki so kawaii," Shizuru murmured, and really if it had been anyone but the ex-kaichou, the tone would have been easily slapped with the label "seductive" and the case would have been closed.

When both Natsuki and herself were standing, which Natsuki helped her do so since she is so chivalrous, Shizuru instantly plastered herself to Natsuki in a less enthusiastic, but still enthusiastic hug as she faced the new arrival.

"Natsuki and I were just getting "reacquainted" with one another after being apart for so long..." Shizuru said, her tone still walking on the wicked side, "ookini, the cake is a wonderful gift, right Natsu-chan!" Oh, but Shizuru could not help but add to the embarrassment, even going as far as giving Natsuki a new nickname....

Natsuki inwardly cursed herself for being so susceptible to Shizuru's teasing. Just as her blushing was under control she had to go and say something embarrassing again. "Shizuru" Natsuki said in what she hoped was a reprimanding voice, she crossed her arms over her chest before turning to face the girl who had entered their room.

Smiling awkwardly Natsuki looked at the newcomer, she was a small girl not at all like any of the people Natsuki knew. Even Yukino looked as though she could take care of herself up to a point, this girl did not.

"Kuga Natsuki," she introduced herself, "thank you for the cake. Sorry about..." Natsuki trailed off with a wave of her hand, not really wanting to linger on what had just been witnessed.

"Natsu-chan...?" the shy girl echoed obediently as her huge brown eyes shifted to the other girl. Apparently, Shizuru's nickname stuck better than Natsuki's own formal introduction... "You're name is Natsu-chan? And..." Liz cocked her head slightly, her eyes glazing as the vision took over. But then the warm, gentle smile appeared. "You're name is Shizuru, right? I'm Liz Riley, third year Seer. I thought about well... saying hi, I guess. I live one floor below, in room 105, together with Katelyn."

Her eyes then lowered to a point invisible to anyone else. "Are you two each other's special person?" she then asked, her voice still the same as two years ago; young, innocent and child-like.

Shizuru froze for a moment, not sure how Liz knew about their Otome powers, or even if she was referencing their otome powers. It could be coincidence, but since Shizuru heard the word "seer" in there, she doubted it was coincidence.

"Natsuki is certainly my most important and special person," Shizuru said her tone slightly more grave to denote her sincerity, and i do believe I am Natsu-chan's most important special person, right?" A wicked look still swam in Shizuru's odd red eyes as she put emphasis on the Natsu-chan, it really was rather cute after all...

Natsuki nodded, keeping her eyes on Liz. She had felt Shizuru's tension and wasn't happy about the cause of it. She was obviously going to have to watch people getting too close to them and potentially causing Shizuru worry, intentional or not.

Natsuki moved her gaze to Shizuru and sighed, she knew that look. "It's not cute Shizuru" she said grumpily

Liz then smiled innocently. "I have a special person as well," she then told them. "Her name is Katelyn. She's very strong and always protects me. She's a Slayer, so it makes sense she's much stronger than me... And she can talk to animals. And sometimes she can be an animal as well." A happy smile appeared on her face as she thought back of her 'special person'.

"Ah, I'm... I'm sorry. Uhm... Where could I put the cake?" Liz looked around curiously. "You are both from Japan, aren't you?" she babbled on friendly as she began to walk towards a free desk that had caught her attention. "There are a few more people from Japan here. Rei-chan, Akiko, Professor Fong... I'm sure you'll feel soon at home here."

all these sunrise continuity series are making me dizzy...

"Thank you, for you welcome and hard work," Shizuru said her charming smile now turned on full force. It was not that she wanted to have Liz become one of her avid fans, but just that she wanted to express her gratitude. After all, it seemed the girl went through a lot of trouble to welcome the both of them.

Natsuki followed Shizuru's lead and also gave Liz a small but genuine smile. "Yes, thank you. It's nice of you to introduce yourself and make us feel welcome"

"It's no trouble at all," Liz quickly explained. "I knew Miss Shizuru was here and I knew Miss Natsu-chan would arrive soon. It gave me enough time to make something."

She then blushed, feeling bad for having to leave the two new girls so soon, but there were more things waiting for her. "Ah... I'm really sorry, I know I just got here, but... There's a project I'm working on and well... I should try to get it finished before tomorrow, so I can start on a new one for Potions tomorrow. But if you have any questions, you can ask them to me. Or anyone else."

"thank you again," Shizuru said as Liz made her way out, "don't worry about us, we'll finish...reaquianting then we'll get situated here..."

Shizuru thought that perhaps, it was a bit of a low blow for the barely recovered Natsuki, but it was just too good of an opportunity for her to pass up...

Liz smiled. "I will see you in class, I think," she said before she turned to the door. "I hope you will like it here. Uhm... Well... goodbye..." She waved at the two, but also not wanting to disturb them any longer, Liz quickly left the room and closed the door behind her.

OOC: Leaving poor Natsuki over to Shizuru's love handles mercy? =D

I'm afraid Shizuru, or her love handles, have mercy...its going to be a long cuddly night Natsuki...

*ara ara, whats this? Natsuki is laying there sleeping? i think i heard a 'cuddle with me Shizuru!' coming from her (sleeptalking?) mouth. you know i'd hate to pass up an offer like that, even if technically you didn't make it. but i don't really get hung up on technicalities...*
