(no subject)
(Btw, some of you may not know, but the people I refer to in this post named Jenn and Kelly (I spent ALL weekend with them) are well known on youtube for doing a youtube "show" called "Demyx Time" Jenn cosplays Demyx and Kelly cosplays Axel. Fri- I got to the con around 11 and Kat n Meg had to wait in line for nearly 2 hours to get their badges. (A friend of mine bought mine before I got to the con (Thanks Emanuel :D)) So I decided I'd wait with them. It was about 1:30ish when they got done so they went to go look around and I went to panel room 18 to make sure I had a good seat for the Demyx Time panel. The panel that came before them was about a group of people that said they were supernatural investigators.... It was a fairly boring panel but I suppose it got somewhat interesting towards the end...
Anyway Kelly and Jenn got there about 15 minutes early. (They were cosplaying Sora and Riku)
I walked up to Jenn cuz she looked pretty nervous and tried calming her down. Anyway the panel started a lil bit later. I filmed pretty much all of it, but its kinda grainy (and the sound is horrible (probably cuz the audience kept talking.)
Anyway, after the panel they went outside to take pictures with everyone. They got a few presents here and there as well.
Kat, Meg and I got tired around 6:30 or 7 so we headed back to our hotel.
Saturday(this is gonna be looong):
Got there around 12 oclock and met up with some of my friends. The day before there was someone selling a Luts dollfie in Artist alley, so I bought it on Saturday.
Anyway, 4 oclock was the panel for the Saturday Demyx time panel.
My battery was dying so I didnt get alot of this one sadly. After the panel ended, they moved the panel to another location so we could talk a lil longer. They took pictures with everyone as well as did some autographs.
After that we headed outside to do a photoshoot (It was sooooo hot out. About 15 minutes in, they couldnt take it anymore so they decided to do a 'what everyone is wearing under their cloak shoot' lol
I found it rather amusing. After that we all started to get hungry so we headed back to the embassy and had plans of going to dinner, swimming & raving. (the swimming didnt happen til like 3am...lol) So we headed towards Bennigans and we found lizards. (They were really excited to see them. They dont have any in England so they were surprised to see them running around everywhere. We got to the restaurant 15-20 min into walking. Their Margaritas are horrible btw, they tasted really watered down. Kelly had like 6 or 7 beers (tho apparently in england what she drank was only worth 3 beers or so. I heard so many stories about how awesome England is, makes me wanna move there. I've been tryin to get out of the U.S. for years now (because the economy here is so bad im getting sick of it), but really had nowhere I wanted to go.. (other than the fact that it would be pretty neat to live in japan, but i OBVIOUSLY don't speak japanese, and I'm not nearly geeky enough to learn japanese just to go to japan and live there. I do think I might try and visit one day, maybe stay for like a month just to make sure I take everything in. (but that probly wont happen for atleast 5 years or so...)
So since japan is obviously out of the question (And i really dont wanna move somewhere like Australia or anything...lol)
So I think maybe in 5 months or so I'll try taking a trip to the UK to visit Kelly n Jenn (they seemed really happy when I told them at dinner ^_^) and take a look around. I'll see if I like it enough to live in, from what I've heard it seems like a really cool place.
We had a really good time at bennigans. There was all kinds of wierd conversations going on... Like Xigbar telling stories about how he's an excellent chef... "WE'RE HAVIN CHICKEN FOR DINNER!"...xD, Kelly told me some interesting stories about her fans, Kellys elbows we're dry so she put some whip cream on them... (lol I dont think that helped much..lol) Then she was annoyed that her elbow was sticky, somehow Jenn got ahold of Kellys foot and started talking into it like she was on the phone (She was trying to order some takeout..lol) What was the name of the resturaunt again?...lol
This lasted for about 5 minutes til Kelly gave up and took her foot out of her shoe...lol I laughed pretty hard when the waiter came by...
So much happened that I cant remember it all.
We left the restaurant around 10-10:30 or so and Kelly said someone came up to her n said "You do your accent really well..." she was pretty annoyed with that. She was like "Thanks I've been working on it for 22 years." and (Oh n on Sunday someone didn't believe Jenn was british.. To be honest, he was really rude if you ask me..)
We got back and the rave started at 12.
Th rave was reallly lame.We decided to stay while just in case it got better. We ended leaving about 2:30ish to go swimming. It wasn't bad, the pool had jets and was pretty warm. They got tired n went to sleep a lil later.
My hotel was a mile away, and I didnt feel safe walking home in the dark so I decided to hang out by the pool til 8 oclock in the morning and take the shuttle back to the hotel.
Sunday: Not much happened on Sunday. I got to the con at 11:30 or so and looked in the dealers room one last time. Once I left the dealers room, we ran into Jenn and Kelly once again. Really all you had to do to find them was find a big crowd..lol
We just hung out until 4 oclock or so and left to go out to eat. We drove over to where we had dinner the night before and had dinner at the sushi resturaunt that was next to bennigans.
After that I got a tattoo. :D
