The rules are simple, I asked someone to post 5 things that they associate me with, now I'm obligated to talk about it. Post a comment asking for 5 things and I'll do it. This one was taken from Zaine.
Six Flags - I don't even know if this one really counts. I went there with friends, everyone had a date but me, but that's okay because I found some random girl, started talking to her, we hung out the entire day while my friends went with theirs. After so long, the manwhore lost his girl and my best bud lost his, which he was heartbroken and I didn't lose anything because I was like "Hey, this was cool, see ya some other time maybe." I did everything at six flags that wasn't rollercoasters, then I did do two, but they weren't Medusa, I did more dinky ones that I was scared shitless over until things finally started moving. It seriously isn't that bad. Of course, after I got off I was spazzing out over how I wanted to do it again. I never did go on Medusa but a friend of mine did and he screamed the entire freakin' way and punched oen of my other friends in the face. Guess he really doesn't like rollercoasters.
Black, new Honda Civics - I've had the car for two years now I think, and the only thing I've done with it is get a bronze weighted shift knob. The reason why I got it is 2nd gear is really funky on my car, could be the stress I put on it when I haul ass or it could just be an issue. I've had issues with that gear for most of the time I got the car, and I really should take it in while I have a warranty on it to get the transmission checked. The weighted shift knob works amazingly with all the other gears, nice, smooth transition. I honestly wish I got the Mitsubishi Lancer, the low-end one that's in the similar pricerange. It looks nicer and the engine has a low-end grunt so I don't have to scream my eggbeater engine to get somewhere. Don't get me wrong, I love my car, but I loved the older Civic Si that I wrecked. If the insurance wouldn't rape my parents' bank account, I'd have gotten yet another Si, one more recent and one with even more power. My car though has a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine and it busts out 140whp at 6500 RPMs. That's impressive for such a small engine but the Si has a 2.0L that churns out 196whp at 7200RPMs. Plus it's a 6-speed. I so badly want to get a short-ram air intake for my civic sometime though, just for the sound and to get rid of the restrictive air filter.
Video Games - This is half of my life! I've been playing videogames with my dad since I was 2, we never had a NES but we did have a SNES and my dad played some games with me in the early years, namely Mario Kart. My mom played with me too, Super Mario World and some other platformer that had dinosaurs, I forget the name. I had a Sega Genesis too that I got later, and man did I rape the hell out of all the Sonic games. Videogames are a double-edged sword for me, with one side being fiercely sharp and the other being dull and blunt. The blunt side is how useful it is in my life right now, which isn't much but once I graduate from school, it will be a part of my life still. The other end is how much trouble it's caused me. I've played hookie so much just to stay home and play videogames. I remember trying to fake being sick so much that I'd go to the nurse's office just to see if I had the random chance of having a fever, which worked 1/16th of the times. So how would I go home in a more reliable way? I gave the thermometer a cold reading. And it worked. Though the most outstanding thing was Phantasy Star Online, that game, for the sega dreamcast, completely screwed over my 8th grade year. First and only time I ever gotten straight Fs. Never again, and thankfully it never did happen again. I grew so attatched to vieogames, especially whenever Unreal Tournament 2004 came out that I started playing competetively. I first started by playing a modification for Half-Life called Natural Selection, I wasn't all taht great at it but I sure got better. I was very good at Unreal Tournament 2004 that I signed up for a tournament ladder in an amateur division. It was a 1v1 DM all the way to the top, and I won it. I got around $300 that I used to buy a videocard for my alienware that's pretty much collecting dust right now. Now, however, ti's all recreation. I do carry great skill into other games, especially MMOs that are competetive. AirRivals and Planetside which are PvP based, the outfit/guild I'm in were always the best of the best and had an elite persona. Now, well, now that I can't seem to feel the awesome feeling of immersion in games, it's off to go create them, that's where my career path is heading. If I have the money afterwards, I have the potential to make some crazy bank later on in life.
My livingroom (o.o) - It's a mess. Well, half the time it's a mess. That couch is sexy though. You should see my house, I live on my own right now, kind of. I live in the living room of a small 2-bedroom duplex with 2 roommates, I might move back home because that's just ghey. Anyway, your living room is cool, I don't care if it's clean or not because I'm used to clutter. I'm at a loss for words on it too... All I can think about is that couch. Oh and your cats.
Candy - I hate it. Well I shouldn't say I hate it, I just don't care for it. I'll eat nerds once in a while or something, but my distaste for candy is the reason why I don't go trick or treating anymore. Instead, I go messing with the drunks and trying to make people not start fights. I go to parties too if I'm invited to them. I don't know what to say about candy other than hey, I don't want it, if you want it, be my guest. If you want it bad though I might charge something for it, I dunno yet.
