"What the...." Chinen was left in wonder. "He did the same too yesterday!!"
"I wonder what he's been doing since yesterday..." Yabu said.
"Yeah... Me too... Heyy!! Where's Ryu? He was here just now."
"I didn't see him go... Has he gone too??"
*silence, no answer*
"Heyy! Chinen!! Where are you??" Hikaru yelled
"Down here you fool... I'm tying my shoes."
"Ohh... Sorry...”

“Rin, what’s wrong?” I heard someone calling me from seat behind mine. It’s Shintaro’s voice. I just shook my head. I don’t want he to be worried about my condition.
"Oh my head... It's killing me" I said in a despair tone. I don't feel well today... My entire bones feel like they're torn apart, and my nose is clogged up. I can't hardly breathe, and my body is burning. I think I got a fever.
Aachioooohh...!!
What's sensei talking about?? I can't concentrate on it. My sight is blurring, and the darkness comes over me.
I don't know what has happened before. I just remember that someone hug me. All that I sure is that I'm at the nursing room now. But I can hear an arguing voice outside, who are they? It sounds like Keiniichan... Who's he arguing with? Kei, stop arguing please, just come here... I want to say it, but I can't get a single voice out of my mouth…
"She must be taken home now. I insist!!" Kei said in an exclamation tone.
"Wait until the school is over, or at least until she's awake. That's the school's rule!" The school nurse answered in a harshly voice.
"I don't care with that stupid rule!! If the school can provide a better room or medication, I won't push it like this."
"It's impossible. This is a school, not a hospital or home..."
"True, and that's why I'm taking her home now!"
"You..."
"Don't argue with me, or you'll be sorry..." That last sentence was said in a low but sharp tone. Thus, the nurse gives up, and let Kei does what he wants.

Rin fainted during her science class. She had a fever. When everyone was confused on what to do, Kei passed by and saw it. Without thinking, he carried her to the nursing room for early help. But then he insisted to take her home.
The nurse couldn't say much. She was too scared seeing Kei's expression when he threaded her.

"Aahh Rin, finally you're awake. You scared the hell out of me. You're home now."
"Niichan... How... What are you doing here?"
"You fainted at class. I took you, that's how I got here."
"Ohh, thanks... Gee... Sorry for troubling."

"Don't get up..." I look at where the voice came from.
It's Ryu... He's sitting beside my bed. How long has he been there?
“What are you doing here?” I asked
“Visiting you? Shintaro told me that you faint in science class. I want to see your condition, that’s why I’m here now. Don’t get up…” He said again
"I have to... I want to go to the toilet."
"Ohh... Let me help you then."
He takes my shoulder; I lean on him and walk to the toilet.
"Okay, you can let me go... I'll be fine now."
"Owhh... Sorry... Okay... I know..." He answered clumsily.
I wash my face, but the water makes me shivering.. It's freezing... I decided to wipe it a little only..
"Brrrrr... It's freezing...."
"Indeed... You had a fever... Come... " Ryu comes toward me, and tried to warm me with his arm, but the chill is just everywhere...
He helps me to get on my bed again, and covers me with my blanket.
"Still freezing?"
"Yeaaaarrhh... " I try to answer, but fail I think.
"Do you want me to get on the bed too?" He raised his eyebrows naughtily..
"Nrrroooooo!!"
"It will be warmer if I'm behind the blanket too, you know..."
"Rrryyyrruuuuuu...!!"
"Okay... Okay... I was just kidding... Just try to cheer you up... You can rest now..."
"Youurr heerreee, i'rrrlll be chheeerrrreee..."
"Rin, I think it's better if you don't say anything while you're still freezing... You sound like a broken robot... Hahahahahahhaaa."
"Here, let me warm you a little."
Ryu takes my hand from beneath the blanket, and hold it. Then he touches my nose and put his hands on my cheeks. He bends over and gives a gentle kiss on my forehead…

Morning has come, but my eyes are still lazy to open. I try to stretch up, but my body says ‘no’ with a hundred ‘o’ letter behind. The temperature is lower than last night, gladly.
"Knock.. Knock.."
"Who's there?" Someone is playing a game at my door.
"Doc Oc.."
"Doc Oc who?"
"Doctor Oc-kamoto.." Kei showed his face.
"Ahahahahaa.. Niichan.. Come on in.. Sorry, I can't get up now."
"No.. No.. Don't get up, I'm fine."
Kei enters my room. He's wearing a black shirt with a gray vest. He's smiling sweetly.
"How are you today?"
"Better, I think..." I try to smile too.
"Did you just wake up? Or did I wake you up?"
"Oh, noo.. I already woke up when you came."
"Wow.. You're such a cow... Hahahahahaa"
"Haaiiisshh..."
"Joking, don't take it personally.."

"Heyy, I brought this along. You haven't had breakfast, right?" He takes a container from his backpack. "Fish porridge..."

My stomach is growling instantly. It's the first meal that i get since yesterday's breakfast.
"Let's eat then...!"
He opens the container, pour the porridge to its cap and hands it to me.
"What about you?"
"Ohh, i've had mine before. It's all yours.."
"Gee, thanks.. Itadakimasu." I cheer and scoop a spoonful of it.
"Aaaaaarrhhh... It's hooooorrrttt!!!" I can't barely close my mouth. I forgot that it's still
hot!
"Riiinn!! My goodness...!! Careless girl..."
He grabs the spoon and the container from my hand.
"Drink first..."
Kei scoops a spoon of porridge and blows it.
"Here you go..." He thrusts the spoon on me so I can just sip the porridge.
"That's okay, I'll do it by myself..." I take over the spoon from his hand, and sip the porridge.
"Like it?"
"Yeah.. It's tasty.."
"I thought so." He's smiling again. Goosshh, what a gorgeous smile it is.
"Heyy, don't you have a rehearsal today? Last night, Ryu told me that he's gonna have a rehearsal, so he couldn't come this morning."
"Oh, he was here last night? Yes, we have a rehearsal. It's already started by now, I guess. I'm just gonna be late a little. That's okay."
"What?? Wow... Will you get trouble because of it?"
"No, don't worry... I just want to see how you're doing first, then I'll rush myself there... In fact, I must get going now, or they'll kick me out.."

"Really?? Wouldn't it take more than that? My mother said that...." Chinen was puzzled but then Hikaru cut him off, "Yow, little guy, it's an expression, not the real thing... Please... Be more sophisticated."
"Don't listen to those two clowns, Kei. The rehearsal is off because Ryu had to go early."
Yama explained. "Rin got ill, and he begged uncle Jhonny to give him a break today.
"I see... So Ryu is going to Rin's, huh?" Kei's smile is fading. "Well then, I gotta run too...

"Wait! You just got here...!" Chinen's voice is swallowed by the slamming door. "He just got here," he objected his sentence to the rest of the group.
"Maybe he wants to poo.." Takaki answered recklessly.
"My gosh..!!" Yama slapped his forehead.

"Hi... Really? I've been asleep for hours then." No wonder my head is hurt like hell. "When did you come? Why you didn't wake me up?"
"Around 12 I think. I can't wake you up. You sleep like a baby, peaceful."

"Almost. I left to get something at 3, and got back at 4, but your mum told me that you hadn't woken up yet. So I just came up and waited here then."
"Sorry, I didn't hear anything... Did I sleep soundly?"

Oh no….. My face is blushing. I cover my face with humiliation.
He takes my hand to uncover it, "but I like it..."

"Not much… Just a couple phrases that I don't understand, I think it’s not Japanese and calling some people too."

"Yeah, calling your parents, your maid, your brothers, and another name too. What were you dreaming about?"

I take my towel and get into the bathroom. His hand is still supporting my shoulder.

"Ohh, sorry, just don't want you to lose your balance." He releases his grip as I enter the bathroom.
"Do you need any help in there? I can scrub your back... " He grins and raises his eyebrows.
I roll my eyes and shut the door. But I can't help from smiling as the door is shut.
Ryu scrubbing my back?? Okay... That would be awesome... Wait, stop the fantasy, Rin!!!

Ryu went back home while I was taking a bath. He needed to take a shower and changed. He promised that he'd be fast and return back here. And so here I am sitting on my bed, waiting for him.
"Knock.. Knock.."
"Who's there?"
"Mick-key..."
"Mick-key who?"
"Me-kei-to..."
"Keeeii... Heyy... I knew it was you.."
"How do you know?"
"Who else would come 'knocking' like that??"
"Hahahahahhaha so predictable, huh?"
"Yeah... Heyy, you promised that you'd come at lunch? Why didn't you come? Busy?"
"Nope... Actually, I did come, but you were asleep."

I didn't see where or when he came, but all I know was just it happened. Ryu came from nowhere and went strike on Kei...
"Get your hands off of her!" Infuriated Ryu after giving Kei a jab on his face.
"Ryu... What are you doing?" I screamed.
"What did he do to you?" He asked me.
"He didn't do anything. He was just telling me not to get sick again." I explained.
"Well, you should give your head some ice, Ryu.. I know my position." Niichan is holding his cheek that was punched by Ryu. But certainly, Ryu missed his punch, because it doesn't show any damage.
"I better go now.. See you TOMORROW, Rin." Kei leaves me and Ryu. I can see Ryu's eyes are filled with anger. But I'm also furious about what he did.
"Morimoto Ryutaro!! What were you thinking??!" I yelled at him.
"I don't know. I just got angry when I looked the two of you just now."
"But we didn't do anything. It was just a friendly hug. He's just showing his sympathy. That's all!"
"Are you defending him?!"
"Huh?! What do you mean? Am I the guilty one here??"
"No!! It's just.. I mean.. Aaaahhh… Can you understand my feeling??!"
"What feeling?? I surely can't understand unidentified feeling like that." I turn around to walk away from him.

My heart is melting, I understand now. I touch his hands softly and say, "Ryu, you don't need to be jealous like this. You know how I feel, right?"
I lean my head on his chest, I can feel his heartbeat.
We stand like that for a few minutes more. Nearly, 10 minutes. His heart is beating normally now.
"I'm sorry, Rin.. You might be upset with me."
He walks around me, and stands in front of me.
"Sorry for disappointing you.. I shouldn't have done that." He turns around and walks to the door.
"Noo..!!" I run and catch him from behind.
"I understand. But you should apologize to him tomorrow. Don't go, please."
He turns around, "I will...."
I'm so relieved, but my knees are limp and the room feels like turning. I collapse to the floor, but Ryu catches me before I touch it.
"Riiiinnn..."
He carries me to my bed.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.." His eyes look sad.
"Stop saying that. I'M just shock a little. I'll be fine."
"It's my fault."
"No, I would do the same if I were you."
"Would you?" He looks surprised hearing that.
"Yes, I would."
He smiles again. The sweetest smile I've ever seen this day.

I woke quite early today. I had a wonderful dream last night. I took a bath with a smiling face, despite the little incident I've had. I feel a lot better this morning, my fever has gone.
"Knock.. Knock.."
"Who's there?"
"It's us...." Ryu and Kei come entering my room together. Ryu must have apologized to him.
"We come in peace..." Kei said copying an alien phrase and voice which oftenly appears on movies.

We laugh together at Kei's joke.

One is my close friend, and the other is my boyfriend..

"Yeah... Heyy, you promised that you'd come at lunch? Why didn't you come? Busy?"
"Nope... Actually, I did come, but you were asleep."
"Owhh... Were you here with Ryu?"
"No, I didn't. But I heard his name a lot... I'm quite jealous you know..."
Oh damn... I thought Ryu was only teasing me. Unfortunately, it's all true.. I'm ashamed...
"Where's he?"
"Home for a while. Needed to change. He'll be here anytime soon. Just wait..."
"Ohh.. Hmm, I gotta go actually. Got homework to do."
"Really?" I stand against him.
"Yeah.. See you.. Get well soon, kay... Miss you healthily."
"Sure.. Thanks..."
He turns around and walks to the door. But then, he turns back and walks toward me. I'm shocked and not ready when he hugs me suddenly.
"Don't get sick again, Rin.. I can't see you like this."
He keeps hugging me, but I don't know what to say.

I didn't see where or when he came, but all I know was just it happened. Ryu came from nowhere and went strike on Kei...
"Get your hands off of her!" Infuriated Ryu after giving Kei a jab on his face.
"Ryu... What are you doing?" I screamed.
"What did he do to you?" He asked me.
"He didn't do anything. He was just telling me not to get sick again." I explained.
"Well, you should give your head some ice, Ryu.. I know my position." Niichan is holding his cheek that was punched by Ryu. But certainly, Ryu missed his punch, because it doesn't show any damage.
"I better go now.. See you TOMORROW, Rin." Kei leaves me and Ryu. I can see Ryu's eyes are filled with anger. But I'm also furious about what he did.
"Morimoto Ryutaro!! What were you thinking??!" I yelled at him.
"I don't know. I just got angry when I looked the two of you just now."
"But we didn't do anything. It was just a friendly hug. He's just showing his sympathy. That's all!"
"Are you defending him?!"
"Huh?! What do you mean? Am I the guilty one here??"
"No!! It's just.. I mean.. Aaaahhh… Can you understand my feeling??!"
"What feeling?? I surely can't understand unidentified feeling like that." I turn around to walk away from him.
"I'm jealous, Rin!! Jealous... I don't want anyone holding you like that, except me! Me!!" He pulled me to his arms from behind when he said that. Seems like he doesn't allow me to get out of it anymore.
My heart is melting, I understand now. I touch his hands softly and say, "Ryu, you don't need to be jealous like this. You know how I feel, right?"
I lean my head on his chest, I can feel his heartbeat.
We stand like that for a few minutes more. Nearly, 10 minutes. His heart is beating normally now.
"I'm sorry, Rin.. You might be upset with me."
He walks around me, and stands in front of me.
"Sorry for disappointing you.. I shouldn't have done that." He turns around and walks to the door.
"Noo..!!" I run and catch him from behind.
"I understand. But you should apologize to him tomorrow. Don't go, please."
He turns around, "I will...."
I'm so relieved, but my knees are limp and the room feels like turning. I collapse to the floor, but Ryu catches me before I touch it.
"Riiiinnn..."
He carries me to my bed.
"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.." His eyes look sad.
"Stop saying that. I'M just shock a little. I'll be fine."
"It's my fault."
"No, I would do the same if I were you."
"Would you?" He looks surprised hearing that.
"Yes, I would."
He smiles again. The sweetest smile I've ever seen this day.

I woke quite early today. I had a wonderful dream last night. I took a bath with a smiling face, despite the little incident I've had. I feel a lot better this morning, my fever has gone.
"Knock.. Knock.."
"Who's there?"
"It's us...." Ryu and Kei come entering my room together. Ryu must have apologized to him.
"We come in peace..." Kei said copying an alien phrase and voice which oftenly appears on movies.
Hahahahahhahahahahahahaa...
We laugh together at Kei's joke.
What a lovely day it is.
I'm with the most wanted boys at school.
One is my close friend, and the other is my boyfriend..
I'm so lucky.....
