“They are late again, ne~” Ryunosuke-kun elbowed me that was still typing message to Mirai-chan about what time is it.
“Yea, I think so,” I sighed. None of my messages have delivered. I flipped my phone.
“Not delivered again ne~”
“Yea, you know about that already!” I got annoyed.
“Of course it’s not delivered! She always turns off her phone if she goes to school with Irie Jingi-san,” Suzuka-san suddenly appeared.
“Going with Irie-kun ne~” I said softly. I get back to my seat. Waiting for them.
The noise of running sound makes me wake up from my sadness. They already arrive before the bell ring!
I can see both of them caught their breath while their hands still holding each other.
“Mirai-chan!” I came to their place. I put my worried face and take a big step so I can reach that place faster.
“Yama-chan, ohayo!” she greets me.
“Oha!” I greet back.
“Hey! Both of you almost late again!” I added.
Both of them looked each other than laugh. They are such a perfect match. I take Mirai’s bag and help her put it on her desk that exactly on my side, while Irie-kun walked to his seat. He glances at us deeply.

At Physical Education period.
Final round. Irie-kun vs me
“I know, you likes Mirai-chan right?” I ask him before the match.
“It’s none of your business. Just prepare yourself to defeated by me,” he said arrogantly
“Hmmphh..” I smirk. “The strongest is the one who deserve to be her mate,” I continued.
He walked away. He didn’t care about my speech.
As usual, no one want to give up. I hit him at his shoulder. He almost collapses. “I sure that I’ll win this match,” I said softly. I can see his expression. He heard what I’m saying just now.
“We’ll see!” he gave counterattack to me with all his power. He is too strong! I moaned and finally collapsed. He helped me to raise me up.
“Don’t be too arrogant,” he whispered at my ear.
“You are the one who arrogant,” I reply
Mirai-chan is looking at us (maybe Irie-kun). Irie-kun turned back to face her and winked at her. Her face turned red. Maybe jealous is the perfect word for me.

The bell rang. Mirai-chan walked to the corner of the class as usual. Today, she is a little bit weird. She was looking at Irie-kun since the class began. And now, she looked so sad and… argghh it’s hard to explain her expression. But one thing that I know, she is not the usual Shida Mirai that I like.
“There’s something wrong with me. Why my heart beat so fast?” she was whispering to herself as she walked to the corner of the class.
“Ma, what do you mean by ‘beat so fast’?” I asked. She is surprised, I guess…
“Eee?” she reply
“Don’t answer me like that”
“Demo, I can’t explain about it, Yama-chan!”
“Hmm… is it feels like this?” I grab her hands and put it on my chess. My heart was beating naughtily. I sure that she can feel my heart’s beat. she blushed. I let her soft hands off and giggled.
“Mirai-chan kawaii ne~” I teased her. But, honestly, she is so cute when she blushed.
“Stop it Yama-chan!” her face turn into red. She turned her head.
“Cotto Matte…” she suddenly told me in worried tone. She ran out from class. And then back to the class to take her bag.
“I’ll accompany you,” I tried to remove that sad face from her angelic face.
“It’s ok, Yama-chan. I can go by myself,” she gave me a sad smile.
“Please! I promise I’ll treat you an ice cream on the way to go to your HQ” I put my deer eye and a childish face. She giggled. She looks even more beautiful when she was giggling.
“Hai hai! Let’s go!” she gave up.

At the way to the park she always looks at me. I don’t know what is in her mind, but to be honest, I really happy! As my promise, I brought her a Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberry Ice Cream for myself. My heart still burning like fire from summer in this lovely spring.
