dearest yuletide writer,

Hey. Thank you in advance for writing. Here's to hoping we didn't match on that one random fandom you decided to add at the last minute in a fit of unfortunate generosity. If you did, sorry. Been there. We'll get through this together.

I'm going to go through some specifics about my preferences with regard to what I'm requesting, but to be honest I'm extremely lenient so you lucked out. I'd happily receive gen fic styled like a unaired episode or a few haphazard deleted scenes than have you struggle to figure out a way for you to shoehorn a romantic plot between two people you offered to write about to be nice. If you've got any qualms putting what I've added below into the story, feel no pressure to force things together. This is just in case you like to have a little extra to go off of and find yourself hard up for ideas or prompts.

Anyways. That's where I'm coming from. If you've got further issue with wondering what I like, PM peasantings with any specific questions. She will be discreet, I promise! Also, my own writing is right here or you can try stalking my twitter or tumblr for more information. Happy writing!

sky high; warren peace/layla williams +
Ideally this would be romantically themed because I adore these two and the way the movie had things going I really thought they were gearing up to veer in this (the correct) direction but instead they just acknowledged them being great together and Will being an asshole to Layla but still let him more or less end up with her. I like the idea of seeing his dad either out of prison or while he's still there and exploring more about both characters in general. I'm forever annoyed at how quickly their fascinating backstories were glossed over for the sake of more boring Stronghold nonsense. So bottom line: more of them, less (to nothing at all) of the Strongholds. I always prefer seeing a relationship develop than anything established, but if they're older than high school then I can deal with either. Feel free to lose the entire backdrop of the high school and the movie plot altogether if you want to just follow them in college or in the real world, I'm really only attached to these two in the first place as the rest of the movie clearly irked me from time to time. Also saving the world and all that bullshit is optional. I'm sure that has the potential to bog down your plot unless you want to write about it, so you can just pretend they're regular people with some weird hobbies for all I care.

So incredibly sorry if you matched this in a general way because I'm the terrible person who ships a fifty-something with a teenager. WHATEVER. Cat's out of the bag, I would love for them to become partners running his gym when he wants to ''''retire'''' and then he just can't let her run things without showing up and critiquing everything (good naturedly, of course). I do think fast-forwarding through her career to retirement or at least aging her up to college aged would make things a little less ...awkward, when it comes to them having a genuine relationship. But honestly I adore their banter enough that just the two of them working together would be hilarious. Bonus points if Joanne and/or Wei Wei show up.

Yes, if you got this you probably already know, this is based 100% off of the scene of the pair playing seven minutes in heaven. I really hope this isn't the sole fandom we matched on because my request for this is a little more specific than I tend to try and keep these, but I really don't want to see them dating in high school. I would love, IDEALLY, for them to meet up during the high school reunion? If that's too much to ask, at least way later in life once they've found themselves more and aren't just messing around in a closet. I won't be wrecked if it's set when they're younger, but it's definitely not my first choice. Other than the ages/setting, have at it. I will take anything involving these two and romance. Please and thank you.

malcolm in the middle; reese/cynthia sanders +
This is one of my favorite shows of all time, so I'd be happy to read anything in this universe. In fact, I nominated Malcolm/Jessica (the neighbor), also, but when forced to choose for the sake of matching, I'd prefer this match up. I'm probably showing my cards, again, about what kind of stories I like, but I would love for these two to actually get together post-series. They had a moment where Reese (sociopath that he is) manipulates her into dating him to spite her, but I think that the chemistry was just too interesting to leave off the way it was. It's like him and cooking. He can pretend his interest in it is superficial, but he has a hard time faking anything that seriously, so I think some amount of it was genuine like. If it were set in-series, I'd definitely like it to be an alternate ending version of that episode or one like it where Reese gets to the point where he was going to trick her, but comes clean and then tries to rebuild the relationship?

Bonus points if this includes Malcolm/Jessica, just because. Or any amount of the rest of Malcolm's immediate family, as well. Like I said, one of my all time favorite shows. I'll take anything I can get with this one.

royal pains; jeremiah sacani/divya katdare +
GIVE ME ANYTHING. So long as there's romance, I don't care. I would probably prefer it to be sans baby, but I don't even care if that's there, too. I don't care if they never hook-up and just flirt closer and closer to it. I don't care if they do nothing BUT hook-up. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE IN LOVE FOR REAL. I think the show is really pushing Divya closer and closer to that place, but I am not that patient. Any version of them being in love is fine by me. So do your worst. Also if you include Page and Russell being fabulous together, you're the best. If you include needless Hank or worse yet Hank/Jill/Jill at all, you're the worst. Kidding. Kind of.

I'll read any rating, but prefer dialogue-heavy writing if given a choice so it's more than okay to have no sex at all or nothing but sex. I'm good with either. I'm not a fan of non-con/dub-con, no matter how it's being portrayed, so please avoid them completely. Like I said above, if you've got further issue with what I like, check with peasantings or check out my writing and other blogs for hints.
