I'm glad it doesn't come off as too contrived, I hope? Since you liked it I guess it was believable. I always want to include a future scene, but tend to fear away in case things come off too sappy and obvious. I wanted you to see one of their kids hate on them instead of give them hugs and kisses. That's when you know you really love someone, when you can pick up on their affection in the middle of their fights. Sheldon and Penny ...may be known to to that from time to time :D

No, seriously, that last one was great. You could totally tell that Sheldon, Penny, Marie (and the other kids) were adorable and loving and a great little family of crazy, smart people.

HEE. Yes, Marie and Isaac and Sheldon (and yes they're all named after Nobel Physicists and although there's already a Sheldon whose won, their youngest is still after his father instead of that other guy). In my brain, at least. I love their whacky little dynamic. I think Sheldon would be a hilariously ineffective dad. Loving and terrific, but the kind you can make fun of in the same room as once you're graduated from school. HEE.

ETA: This icon is SO APROPROS, OMG. That's how I feel when I'm rambling out in-verse brainstorms and drinking my third cup of tea. LOL.

Serious amounts of win. I told you most things already, but I love the extended Han/Leia metaphor throughout the last half of the fic! :)

Han/Leia my first OTP (along with Scully/Mulder, actually, since I saw them around the same age and are also bickerers)! I had to pay homage to love/hate relationships everywhere. I think that if Sheldon were ever in a relationship scifi comparisons would filter into romance. I love you/I know even characteristically should happen in reverse, let alone with how the metaphor worked ..but that's why he does it! GAH, I'm rambling about someone elses characters, but they all make me squee so hard I can't help it.

I love them married! I'm always nervous about writing it, but I think they'd make a great tag-team against a bunch of kids. Who wouldn't be the coolest person with parents that smart/beautiful. LOL.

Anyway.... OMG I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved number 6!!!! <3 and seven was just PERFECT! Kinda reminded me of my own dad, lol. He's not as cool as Sheldon, of course.

Aw, thanks. My dad is kind of like that, too. Nowadays, at least. He'd probably be a hardass when they're growing up, but once you're old enough to be snarky and not get yelled at for it ...the fun begins. So I wanted to zip ahead and give a snapshot of it. I love old, wise Sheldon. :P

Oh, thank you! I've been talking about it on Twitter (part of why I ended up with an entire Twitter segment, LOL) so long that I'm glad you got a chance to see what I was rambling about. I'm a sucker for happy endings. I tried to bury it a bit under angry!Cooper children/parent relations, but it's still pretty obvs. I'm glad you liked it :D
