The windmills are my physics class

I love the end of the semester. Especially when taking such interesting courses.

Physics has taken over my life, and is continuing to do so with even my non-waking hours. In my dreams whatever action I'm in the middle of, I'm conscious of the physics work I have to finish. That's right, the stress has gotten to the point where its with me 24hrs. a day. I haven't gotten more than four hours of contiguous sleep for around two weeks now.

I'm trying to finish around five things at the moment... but anytime I get some work done, I just stress out about the time taken away from other things still due. Its like boxing with a wall, nothing gained but plenty of pain.

Life isn't bad, just stressful, like everyone who's dealing with the end of the school year.

I might work on updating over the summer, but with school, and the extra physics fun, I'm usually not at my own computer (or any computer) for that long anymore, unless I'm writing a paper.

I'm rarely signed on to any instant messengers anymore for similar reasons. If you would like to get in touch, I'd really recommend sending me an E-mail, or calling my cell phone.

The good news, life continues on, and amazes me at every turn. There are some truly terrific things happening out there, if you just bother to look for them.

* Plans for summer & beyond *

  • I'll be taking a summer course at UML (College Writing 1 - think ninth grade English class)
  • Working at the UML Photonics Center (working with Dr. Goodhue, and other wonderful people)
  • Hopefully finding time to see the many friends I miss
  • Taking five courses next semester (three of them physics, one of those at an honors level)
  • Treasurer for SPS (Society of Physics Students)
  • Try to find other activities to join, and time to participate in them

For those of you who don't get the title reference, check out the mood I'm in. If that's not enough, let me know, and I'll beat you over the head with a good book (I never have been able to read the whole thing myself though, partly because there's so many other things to read).
