Prompt: 45. 5 Times Yuto caused YamaChii for the Chinen-thon (is this still alive? XD)
.ONE.
The little guy sighed as he looked at Yamada texting. He didn’t notice Yuto was sitting there beside him, and heard the sigh. He turned red from embarrassment and whispered, “Pretend you didn’t hear anything.”
Yuto smiled, “Of course I didn’t, because you still didn’t say it to Yamachan.”
“But, how? It’s scary,” Chinen commented, still blushing.
“Don’t you worry,” Yuto said happily, “I promise everything’s going to be okay. You might not know he also likes you,” he said while tickling his friend.
Then slowly he pushed Chinen out of the couch, forcing the little guy to wobble a bit. Unsuccessful, he tripped himself right in front of Yamada. He never felt so embarrassed, and so he kept his face low and dared not to look at him.
“Hey, are you alright?”
Chinen’s ears almost melt as he felt Yamada’s soothing voice, asking if he’s okay. He looked up and reached for the other boy’s helping hand, and pulled him to stand up. As he looked at Yamada’s eyes, he can feel his heart beating very fast. Will be he able to tell him, just like what Yuto promised?
.TWO.
Chinen worriedly looked at Yuto, who is almost 5 feet away from him. Yuto winked and signaled a thumbs up, telling him to tell it now.
He then looked at Yamada, who looks like examining his face, “Anou, Yamachan-”
“Don’t move.”
Chinen can feel his heart almost burst as Yamada took out a bandaid from his pocket and gently placed it on his cheeks, “You got bruised when you tripped,” Chinen looked down again but Yamada laughed, “That’s just nothing, no need to be embarrassed.”
As the older boy went out, the little guy can’t express his gratitude for Yuto. He happily skipped and sat on his lap, “I’m really sorry I didn’t tell him, I was too scared.”
Yuto patted his head and ruffled his hair, “it’s okay. I also feel that way with Inoo then.”
.THREE. -
Why are Yamada and Chinen the dancers on MS 4-27-08 episode when Takaki and BAD sang?
Really happy and thinking that this would be the chance, Yuto peeked through the producer’s office, pretending that he was exploring and accidentally went in. he knew what they were talking anyway, and so he gave his suggestion, hoping that they would accept it.
Back at the room, the boys were finishing their homework when Takaki came along with the producer of the show. They accepted Yuto’s suggestion and chose Chinen to be a back-up dancer for next week’s Music Station. Takaki even smiled that the little guy can sing a few lines on the song.
“Chotto,” Yuto added when Chinen is about to decline the invitation, “Can we have Yamada as Chinen’s partner? It would be much better if there are two people in between Takaki and BAD.”
Chinen shot a glance at him, then smiled, “Yes, please! Let me and Yamachan dance together!” and the people from the show can’t say no from the little fellow’s gleaming and hopeful eyes.
Starting the next day, Chinen smiled all throughout the practice, seriously wanted to thank Yuto for giving him another time with Yamada. Though from his happiness, he forgot to tell Yamada how he feels.
.FOUR.
He can’t believe he just did that, after having a simple fight with his mother, he stomped right out of the house. Now that it’s dark and rain is pouring, Chinen was lost and hurt. If only someone, or even something can help him right now…
…that’s when he saw the raindrops on the concrete around him stopped. He looked up and saw Yamada covering the two of them under an umbrella, “Yamachan…” he mumbled as tears rolled on his cheeks.
The other boy sat down beside him and paced an arm around his shoulders, “Shhh,” he hushed gently when Chinen laid his head on his chest, still sobbing, “don’t cry now, you’ll just make the rain worse.”
“But…I was…too…stupid…” the little guy still mumbled since he can’t breathe from intense crying.
Yamada’s half-hug turned into a full embrace that warmed Chinen a little. After a long silence but the rain pounding hard, Chinen stopped crying and slowly whispered, “Please don’t leave now, Yamachan. I need you and I love you.”
The other boy felt bad for him for being too emotional this night, so he carried him down to his best friend’s place, but those words still burn in his mind, like it’s really on fire, each word leaving a permanent mark.
I need you and I love you
.FIVE.
He woke up under a warm blanket, on a soft bed. He is wearing clean clothes and saw his shirt and pants from last night hanging and wet on the clothesline outside. He noticed that he’s in Yuto’s room, and that there are plenty of towels on the floor. Must be from last night, Chinen thought.
He saw that Yamada’s clothes last night were also wet outside, and Chinen thought he might’ve carried him through the rain. There he saw Yamada sleeping on another bed beside him. He stood up, looked at Yamada, then went down to see Yuto.
“Ohayou Chii! Had a good sleep?” Yuto shouted the minute he saw Chinen on the stairs.
The little guy sat on his lap and said, “Ohayou,” then he remembered everything that happened, “Hey, I told Yamachan already!”
Yuto hugged him, “That’s great! What did he answer?”
“Well, actually, after that we never spoke to each other again. Guess it’s the loud rain that I can’t hear anything.”
“Do you know want to know how he feels now?”
“Huh?”
There they go again; Yuto forced Chinen to stand up and go back up the stairs. He didn’t push Chinen, but lifted him up and entered the room again. The little guy moved to free himself but Yuto’s strong arms dropped him on the bed where Yamada is sleeping.
Chinen can’t help but to stare on those innocent and closed eyes. He sat down on the bed again and stroked Yamada’s hair. He wanted so much to thank him for saving him from being drained under the rain. He held on Yamada’s shoulder to wake him up but something grabbed him instead and pulled him to lie right next to the other boy.
He noticed that it was Yamada who pulled him into this. But he’s still sleeping, Chinen thought, he can’t move. Then he changed his mind as he observed the other boy’s sudden twitching and movement. Careful not to kiss him, he continued to look at Yamada’s sleeping face.
Then out of nowhere, he saw Yamada moved and kissed his lips. Chinen’s eyes widened from surprise, and left his lips against Yamada. It was such a sweet moment, that he doesn’t want to pull away from this aura of satisfaction. And at last, he heard the awaited answer he longs to hear, “I love you too, Chii,” Chinen was too happy that he tighten his hug on Yamada.

Yuto felt so accomplished when one day he saw Yamada and Chinen, with their hands together, came to him and began to thank him for all that he did.
