I have grown a fascination towards swing music and gypsy inspired music. Slight transition from my love for jazz but definitely a good one! Although, jazz and blues will always retain a special part in my heart. There is something especially appealing about the gypsy inspired guitar tracks. Just prompts me to sprawl on a hammock on a beautiful sunny day and do... nothing. Somehow they have found the perfect mixture between rapid, fast-paced strumming to the slow an almost caress-like slow tempo.
Some personal notes I have to remember: Madeleine Peyroux, the French Billie Holiday, and that Anouman's Confessin' That I Love You is a beautiful song.
