Author’s Notes: ooohhh!! I feel this is like crap. When I read Twilight, my passion for fanfic writing almost disappeared. And from this I know I failed so much for making fluff D: Sorry too for gramatical or spelling errors.
There was a monster who takes people away, especially when they are in big groups, and strolling around in dark places. This monster usually takes people when they get separated, or just simply not aware that its there. The best way to prevent from getting lost is of course; hold your hands together in a tight situation. That way everyone will be safe.
“What if you guys won’t hold hands? Will that person get taken by the monster?: Ryutarou shakily asked, sitting very close to Yabu, holding his shirt.
Hikaru explained, “Maybe yes…maybe no…”
The BEST members did not reacted as much as the younger boys did. Innocence showed as they believed in that mythical creature that takes people away. Takaki held Inoo’s hand naturally; Keito silently moved closer to Hikaru, as if seeking protection. Ryutarou finally hopped on Yabu’s lap and wrapped his arms around the older boy. Yamada and Yuto held each other, shaking. Chinen still has his head on Daiki’s shoulder, yawing and eyes dropping already.
When Yabu saw them, he moved Ryutarou on his side, and said, “Time to go back guys. It’s late already, and we still have rehearsals tomorrow.” He turned back the lights, and helped everyone to go out of the room.
Back at the van to the hotel, Chinen gave into temptation and finally slept in Daiki’s arms. The other boy held him tight so that he won’t fall. Yuto became curious, since while the storytelling Chinen seemed not listening. He’s just staring blankly, his tired head on Daiki’s shoulders. Yuto asked Daiki, “Do you think Chii ever listened to even one story that we shared?”
The other boy chuckled, “who knows. He’s really tired from the concert earlier, by the way.”
“You’re right.”

Daiki hesitated to wake the little guy now, so he carried him all the way to their room. It was fun, working with him this spring concerts, he would have more time with him. Gently, he placed his head on the pillow and spread the blanket over him. Daiki smiled, to see such an innocent face like this.
It was a while when the BEST member fixed himself before going to the separate bed beside Chinen’s. As he turned off the lamp, the only illuminating product in the room, he heard some noise. He was sure that the noise came from his right. The sound resembles the sound when you move around with your blanket on you. Daiki turned on the lamp and saw a moving ball of lump under the sheets on the bed beside him
He held Chinen’s shoulders to stop from him moving, but he can see the restlessness in the other boy’s sleeping face: he’s having a nightmare. He held him tighter, but nothing would stop from moving.
Then Daiki heard him talk, though it’s more than a cry, “No! Don’t leave me!…ahhh!…” more mumbles came in until Daiki heard his name on Chinen’s lips. “Dai-chan…”
He answered, “Chinen, I’m here. You’re having a nightmare. Please wake up.”
Chinen did not respond; he kept on moving and mumbling. Sweat began to accumulate on his forehead. Daiki grew even more worried. What will he do?
Then he remembered the story that Hikaru shared earlier. He must be lost in his dream, Daiki thought. He held Chinen’s trembling hand and said, “You’re going to be fine, just hold on to me,” very closely to his ear.
Chinen held his hand very tight that he can feel the blood stopped flowing in that part of the body. Daiki continued to whisper that everything’s fine, as long as they kept on holding their hands. The little guy stopped. With relief, Daiki slid his hands off and wiped Chinen’s wet forehead. He realized then that it’s already way past midnight, so he prepare himself to bed.
Just as he is standing up, he saw Chinen sat up on the bed. The little guy almost ambushed him as he jumped out and hugged him. Tears fell, “Dai-chan! We’re almost caught by the monster!”
Daiki laughed, “It’s just a dream, Chii.”
“I know, but dream or no dream, I don’t want you out of my sight,” the little guy blushed.
“Aww. That’s so sweet of you,” the BEST member hugged him. Then he gently pushed Chinen to lie down and pulled the blanket up to his neck, “Well, I hope you won’t get a nightmare later. One is enough for me.”
Chinen just smiled, then quickly kissed Daiki as he’s lowering his head, “Oyasuminasai,” he smiled again
Daiki went back to bed and closed the lights. Amidst the darkness, he creped over and slipped onto the bed, right next to Chinen. He felt something touched his lips, and he knows who that it. He held Chinen’s smooth hand and whispered, “Now we’ll never get lost.”
He heard a soft giggle from the other boy, then both of them drifted to sleep.
