Author’s Notes: This is my *drum roll* birthday fanfic for Chinen!! The first chapter of this fanfic is one week before his birthday, so of course I’ll follow that schedule. yeah about that...too bad, i won't be online on his birthday *sobs* and probably i won't be online tomorrow, friday and saturday so i think this is a good time to post it. i really hope you guys will read this and, hopefully, like it XD
Summary (for this chapter): Now that everything's done and prepared, Daiki first made sure that Chinen will be SURPRISED in his birthday -- until someone declined their invitation at the last minute.

“Is everyone here?” he asked, holding his notebook
“Not yet,” Inoo responded.
Takaki continued, “Like what you said earlier, Ryutarou is out there, stalling Chinen before going here.”
“Good. The banners?”
“All done,” Yabu answered, standing on a chair to fix the angle of a banner that says otanjoubi omedetou!
“The food?”
“Here and delicious,” said the silent Keito, tasting the gyoza that they just ordered.
“Drinks?”
Hikaru sipped from the cup noisily, then smiled, “it tastes sweet!”
“How about your gifts?”
Everyone pointed to a table on the cornermost of the room where 8 boxes wrapped in colorful paper are displayed. Daiki smiled and signed in relief, “I guess what’s missing now is the birthday boy. Thanks for helping me guys.”
“Don’t mention it.” Everyone said in chorus.
“Anything for our little Chii” Takaki continued again.
Chinen entered the room with Ryutarou, and was astonished to see the colorful part he has. He had fun on the games, ate a lot of gyoza and danced to the Arashi music playing all throughout. He even took a piggyback ride from all Hey! Say! BEST members, which almost made his day.
Chinen was very happy that everyone had something to give him. He liked the manga that Yamada gave him, but loved the green shirt that Yuto bought him. Amidst all these gifts, he felt that something is missing. He looked around the saw Daiki almost teary-eyed while talking on the phone. He went over to ask him what’s wrong, but the other boy ignored him and walked straight out.
The little guy wanted to follow him, but he can’t leave everyone as is.
“We’re okay. Go ahead and talk to Dai-chan,” Yuto said as he gently pushed Chinen outside the door.
He ran and looked for his dear friend, and ran some more. Where could Dai-chan be? What’s happening to him right now? Why does he look frustrated earlier? Chinen all though these questions as he held back the tears while running all over the building.
“Dai-chaaaaaan!” he HAD to give up; he can’t find him anywhere, and his legs can give up anytime now.
He went to the back of the Jimusho, where a small garden is located, and relaxed himself from earlier. That’s where he heard a low mumbling, certain that the voice is from a boy. The little guy turned his head, and was very surprised to see Daiki there, looking down and holding his knees.
“Dai-chan, Daijobou?” This is the first time Chinen saw the BEST member with wet and swollen eyes. What on earth happened?
Daiki opened his notebook and showed Chinen a chart, the chart where all preparations are needed for his party. The following page is a list; a lost of Arashi songs for a presentation.
Chinen was confused, “What is this?”
Daiki wiped his tears with the back of his hands; “I prepared everything for you, and the Arashi performance…that’s supposed to be my gift. But earlier, Ohno-kun called me and said that he can’t come.”
The other boy sympathized with him by hugging him. Although Chinen knows this won’t help anything, he kept on whispering that it’s okay over Daiki’s ear, “Ya know what, being here alone with you can be a gift. You know I really love it whenever it’s only you and me together.”
Daiki, his face still covered with tears, would about to answer when they heard a deep, rather familiar voice coming form the right side, “Did I really say I - WE can’t come?”
Chinen jumped with joy while the BEST member looked at Arashi with a bewildered face, “B-b-but…” he stuttered.
Right after that, this Johnny’s band began to sing the songs that they practiced. The song list went on according to Daiki’s plan. Chinen danced on Kitto Daijobou, Kaze no Mukou E and Truth, sang with them on Hitomi no Naka No Galaxy and Ima Ai Wo Katarou. As the last one, Love So Sweet, is being serenaded at a low and gentle voice, Chinen took the chance, sat down beside Daiki and held his hand. He even leaned his head on Daiki's shoulder, which made the BEST member blush bright red.
Omoide zutto zutto wasurenai sora…
Daiki held Chinen’s hand even tighter as Arashi finished their song and said a simple “Happy Birthday” in unison. He can’t believe Ohno surprised him.
Chinen asked, “Hey, did you planned that Arashi’s going to perform here? You’re such a great actor, crying like that. Oh, thank you so much for this!!” without hesitation, he hugged and at the same time pinned his friend to the ground.
“Actually-” his sentence was cut off by the intense feeling brought by Chinen’s tender lips. He felt the little guy’s weight getting heavier on his body, but he didn’t complain. He gave into temptation and kissed Chinen back.
Nino was a bit engrossed at the sight of two teenage boys doing something. He was about to shout when Ohno covered his mouth with his hand, “You don’t want to ruin the moment,” he whispered.
After some moaning and more kisses, Chinen and Daiki stopped, with deep breathing close to hyperventilation. Though breathless, Daiki kept on holding Chinen, who is on top of him. The little guy noticed that his sempais are still looking at them. He turned red, while Ohno chuckled and said, “I guess it’s a nice time to leave, ne?” he turned back, walked a bit and waved goodbye at the boys.
Finally Daiki let go of Chinen, still breathing heavily. “Ohno-kun really surprised me.”
“Me too.” Chinen commented, “Thanks a lot. This is the best birthday gift I ever received today.”
“You’re welcome.” Daiki said as he sat up.
“I love you.”
Daiki looked at Chinen’s shining eyes, he never felt so relieved and happy for the first time, “I love you too.” He moved closer, sat back down and it was his time to hug his boyfriend. “Happy birthday.”
