i fucking love 96.5...they are seriously my favorite radio station...
which is why i decided that the rush i'm planning (our toga rush) is going to also be a party with wired 96.5 street team...YES!!!! with a dj, lights, and free shit...it's gonna be hotness...
the one thing that's been an issue is the fact that it's gonna cost $450...so, instead of doing the normal fundraising shit where you have to spend money in order to get money, i decided we should just go around and ask people if they wanna give us money...and it's been working...so far, we have about 200 bucks...and we're still not done...the only thing that sucks massive ass is i've decided that whatever we don't get through fundraising, i'll pay out of my pocket....why did i decide that? B/C I WANNA HAVE THIS GODDAMN PARTY!!!
SIDENOTE: if you'd like to donate to the "u phi wants to have a party" fund, just find an ACTIVE sister (that'd be me, layne, becky, elsa, lindsay, felicia, sara, or claire) and give them money

i saw fritter last wednesday...that was weird...and he's going into the air force...that should be interesting...i guess we'll see if the whole "don't ask, don't tell" law is in affect now that bush is in office
dr. yahdi talked to me during lunch today about my plans for next semester...to tell you the truth, i have no fucking idea...i need to do something for my ile, but there are all these stipulations as to what you can and can't do for an internship...i don't see why it fucking matters anyway...if it's something that i want to do and i'm actually learning from it, who are they to tell me if it's a "real" independent learning experience or not?...who gives a shit if i had 3 classes in the department i'm trying to do the internship in or not?
fui on this goddamn school...i want out!
another sidenote: i miss all my friends that graduated last year...i miss going to parties with shannon...and her b-day when we got des drunk...and freshman year when i roomed with megan a...and going to omwake parties that didn't suck (whatever happened to the black light?)...and roxanne...and zoha's randomness...and all the good stuff about college (which is basically everything that doesn't involve school work)
that also reminds me...
certain people who i won't name right now never got the fact that college isn't all about the stuff you learn...if that were the case, you would just take online classes and be done with it...it's more about the experiences that you have...i mean, i remember omwake parties better than i remember what the fuck i learned in gen. chem 2...that's the whole point of staying at school as opposed to commuting...and certain people who i still won't name never understood that (which is why they'd go home every goddamn weekend and then get mad when they miss whatever it is that we talk about that whole week)
i'm mad tired which is probably why i'm babbling on and on, but YEAH!...nov. 19th...if you're not busy, you should come out to my party (which is going to be free btw)
