(no subject)
The following is bitching about how I'm screwed at school. You don't have to read if you don't want to.
See, apparently 8th graders have until Friday for the end of the grading period, which seriously fucks things up for me. I've still a B in science and but a few days to bring it up to an A.
In English, that fuck Mr. Anderson is screwing me over because he constantly gives me the vaguest answers on everything I ask him, and he refuses to give me assignments with which I can bring up my grade.
"Ashcon, the reason you don't have an A is because you're not putting forth any effort"
"Well, Mr. Anderson, then you have to give me something to put forth effort on. Extra credit isn't allowed and you're not assigning anything. I don't have many options left."
"Yes, Ashcon." *walks away*
I mean, does that fucker WANT to fail me or something? What an asshole...
And then when I come home with those B's on my report card, I get crucified. Well, maybe not that bad, but I do get F'd in the A. And the worst part is that's it's not completely my fault I'm where I'm at. I could tell them the truth, that I was overloaded with the SAT, and staying after school 2 or 3 times a week, and hardly being home in the first place because they're always dragging me off to their friend's house, but it wouldn't do any good.
And now for some mor bitching. For Science I have an F and a C on a quizzes. While the C wouldn't have hurt me, the F wasn't my fault. Here's the conversation I had with Mrs. Pastucha before I handed it in unfinished:
"I found my quiz that you gave me for homework when I was sick."
"Is it finished?"
"No, but since it's over a week late, and you drop the grade for every day it's late, isn't it an F no matter what?"
"Yes that's true"
*hands in quiz*
*10 minutes late, I get the quiz back with an F on it"
"You know, you could have had a B if you finished it."
"But I asked if it was an F no matter what and you said it was!"
"Yeah but..." *walks away*
In English, I might be okay, I just have 2 F's (late stuff) and then I think I can pile enough A's on top of that to get an A in the class. I don't know though...
